This was incredibly stupid of her.

This just put her out of my list of Republicans I can support. Before it was only Huntsman and the surrender monkey.
Now if she had a name or something, but it was just "some lady in the crowd." I have my doubts it even took place.
Friends of mine in MN said she often made blunders just like this.

I agree with you. I’m disappointed in Bachmann who keeps bringing up what isn’t quite the whole story. I really disappointed in Perry on the illegals issue; first the border fence-now instate tuition.

That being said, Reagan always said that if you never speak bad about another Republican. The should focus on where they stand on the issues and what they would do.

Rush is ahead of the curve trying to prepare people for a possible Romney win

BINGO!!!

Except it is not just a possible win. Now that Perry has been considerably damaged, it is a highly probable Romney win.

Okay I said this a few times today and will say again...

Would you rather have Perry vetted before the general election or during?

Sit back and watch and learn...If Perry is qualified he will make the show, if not, then we saved ourselves complete annihilation in nov/12

She wouldn’t dare. Rush would crush Palin and she knows it if she decided to take him and his listeners on. She doesn’t have a 10th of the conservative credibility and authority he has built up over decades.

>>RUSH: Perry goofed up by using an executive order on the Gardasil -- there's no question he goofed up on it -- instead of taking it to the Texas legislature. He's admitted that over and over again. <<

Bachmann may well have jumped the shark.

But Michelle malking did her homework and came up with this:

"When both the House and Senate repealed the (vaccination) law six weeks later, Perry did not — as he now claims — listen humbly or “agree with their decision.”

Human shield demagoguery. In response to the legislature’s rebuke, the infuriated governor attacked those who supported repeal as “shameful” spreaders of “misinformation” who were putting “women’s lives” at risk. Borrowing a tried-and-true Alinskyite page from the progressive left, Perry surrounded himself with female cervical cancer victims and deflected criticism of his imperial tactics with emotional anecdotes.

He then lionized himself and the minority of politicians who voted against repeal of his Gardasil order. “They will never have to think twice about whether they did the right thing. No lost lives will occupy the confines of their conscience, sacrificed on the altar of political expediency.” Perry, of course, has now put his own ghastly Gardasil order on that same altar — but with no apology to all those he demonized and exploited along the way."

Rush has had His jumps over the years, We all have. Bachmann can get by this.

Long way to go, and Rush is not the appointed one to decide who gets the nod

“I also thought Huntsmen was desperate when he threw out the not securing the border is treason.”

yeah it’s like he wanted to be Alan Keyes when he is really a mushy RINO.

Its kinda funny that these people are making these declarations that Palin and Bachmann have been irreparably harmed by their stance but there’s no evidence of it.

As far as St Rick is concerned, people have been feeding us this BS about him being the tea party favorite for a while now but last night he just got a tiny taste of the crapstorm coming his way.

That was basically my initial response too.

Today I read that Huntsman was ribbing Perry for his statements of treason aimed at Fed chair, Ben Bernake.

Either way, Huntsman came across sappy.

No she won’t. Even without this, she is still just a congressman with no serious accomplishments.

LOL

Uh-huh...if Romney is the nominee we all lose. And while I do believe it ultimately falls on him to survive the all out lies and distortions being flung at him as well as his few inexcusable breaks in orthdoxy on immigration...I will hold you and Palin, and Bachmann and Michelle and every one like you responsible if our nominee is Romney, if Obama wins or if perry is made toxic in a general election. And don’t you dare coming running back here if that happens and say you did it all for the sake of conservatism. because romney and Obama spit on conservatives.

“Perry : Rams Gardasil down taxpayer throats in the name of crony capitalism —> goof”

Yeah, Rush is definitely “downplaying” Perry’s overt departure from conservatism.

A little disappointing.

The next thing you know they’ll be reduced to posting unflattering Newsweek cover art to make their point.

Governor Palin’s administration proudly gave Gardasil to Medicaid recipients in Alaska. They were “THRILLED”. Our tax dollars at work:

” Health officials to make HPV and meningococcal vaccines available to more Alaska children

Printer Friendly Copy (PDF, 85KB)

( Juneau, Alaska) The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services announced today that an increase in federal funding will make it possible for all Alaska girls ages 9 through 18 to receive Gardasil, the vaccine to prevent cervical cancer, at no cost.

Earlier this spring, the department had said it could provide free Gardasil only to Alaska girls who met certain eligibility requirements. Since then, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided additional funds for Alaska to obtain more vaccine. This boost in federal aid will enable more Alaska girls to receive Gardasil. Distribution of this vaccine to providers is just beginning, so state health officials suggest calling providers before visiting local clinics to find out if the vaccine is available.

“We are thrilled that this unanticipated funding will allow us to provide the vaccine for all eligible girls,” said Laurel Wood, Alaska’s immunization program manager. “Although we have no guarantee that this funding will be available in future years, we hope to immunize as many Alaska girls as possible while we have this unique opportunity.”

The federal government approved Gardasil last summer to prevent certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) known to cause cervical cancer. Gardasil is the most expensive vaccine recommended today, with a retail cost of at least $360 for three shots given over six months.

The CDC recommends the vaccine for girls and women 9 through 26 years old, but the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services only has funding to cover the vaccine for those ages 9 through 18. Women ages 19 through 26 may be able to receive some coverage through Medicaid, their health insurance companies or a special financial aid program set up by Merck & Co. Inc., the vaccine’s manufacturer.

The additional federal money for Alaska also means the department can expand availability of Menactra ®, the vaccine that protects against bacterial meningitis. Although the department previously provided Menactra only for limited age groups, it now will make the vaccine available at no cost for boys and girls ages 11 through 18.”

Honestly, I am probably going to vote for Herman when it comes time. I can’t say 100%, yet, but this is my leaning.

That’s a terrible picture of Michele Bachmann...I hate these lefty media types...this isn’t the first time they’ve skewed the picture to make them look crazy. They did this to Sarah one time which really made me angry. IF it is one of their goons then they do the opposite...skew a picture to make them look kind, smart, classy...when in fact they look like the skewed picture of Michele Bachmann.

LOL....really?

On this issue Rush is on the doorstep of stupid. Not talking about the Bachmann reach but What Sarah said last night.

We have to go into the General Election with Obama on defense, if he's not then we are in trouble. The candidate we choose must be true to the values that Obama does not have. Perry as we are learning is now with issue that will severely hamper his ability to define the differences.

That is the way it is. It is obvious that Perry compromised all values on not just this merck issue but on others. The economy woes alone will not make Obama a lame duck. Keep that in mind.

Palin is right and she is truly just saying what she said all along...no more.

That is what we need, whether she's in or not.

People on this board and Rush need to come to that understanding.

I see you are on board with the lib media in posting their crap.

Not a defense of Bachmann, she jumped the shark.

But posting the Newsweek cover, why don’t you go ahead and post ALL the liberal propaganda while you’re at it?
