FAWLTY Towers legend John Cleese has come under fire after declaring: "London is no longer an English city." The comic, 71, said that the mix of cultures had helped the capital win the 2012 Olympics.
But he added that it can be hard to find an English person and that the "parent culture has dissipated".
Cleese, who is performing in Sydney, was asked on Australian TV what he thought of last month's riots around the UK.
He replied: "I'm not sure what's going on in Britain. Let me say this, I don't know what's going on in London because London is no longer an English city.

Cleese spent years in America making a fortune, made ANOTHER bad marriage on our soil, and because of that, turned on US.
I, personally, think he has a problem. If London is so bad, go home and try to help.

Every now and then a socialist opens his eyes to reality, thinking he has discovered a new truth. “They” are like children, dangerous spoiled rotten children....
I don’t know if John Cleese is a socialist, but his remarks made sense. Compare that to what the average American liberal actor would spout off if asked what ails his country, and Cleese sounds conservative.

Here’s a guy who, as far as I’m concerned, helped usher in a counter culture that was antagonistic to Judeo-Christian cultural infuences, and he wonders what happened. I’ll tell you what happened, you, and many like you, sold out your heritage for a buck, a laugh, and a little bit of pride.
Sad how you can warn people of the consequences of deliberately surrendering your culture and traditions in the name of 'diversity' and see them wake up to the harsh reality after it actually happens.

Watching a Dragoncon panel on the house loop here in Atlanta, there was a star trek TNG panel. Outside the usual lame questions the people ask, there was one about regarding what phone call do you want or what big thing you want next. Most of the panelists were unremarkable. One wasn’t. Gates McFadden (Dr, Crusher) wants the phone call saying we have “healthcare”. The room erupted in cheers. One question I would have asked if I had been there would be where all this “healthcare” would come from? I would have probably had my badge yanked and get kicked out of Dragoncon.

In every socialist takeover, it is their supporters who revolt in horror at what they created. Those supporters are the first to be eliminated by those holding the reigns of power.
Yuri Bezmenov said that there comes a time when the useful idiots will stare like deer into the headlights when they are confronted with the fact that they aren’t so useful after all, and were just tools all along. This often happens just prior to being lined up against a wall and shot. London, and Great Britain in general was just one of the eggs needed for the omelette. Perhaps this is Cleese’s deer moment.

Ridiculous! I go to London all the time and have never been “mugged.” It’s a fabulous city.
“Multiculturalism” is yet another false God promoted by Progressives. As its failure becomes manifest, increasingly in the embodiment of formerly useful things set ablaze, the Left will predictably turn to blame someone and something other than themselves for the disaster they helped to facilitate.
