Texas cops are trying to identify a nude man who was found asleep on a dock during the broiling Texas heat wave and has been hospitalized with second degree burns over 40 percent of his body.
The man claims to not know who he is, police said.
"Our victim was altered. He didn't know his name, who he was or how he got there. He was found without an ID or possessions of any sort," said Warren Hassinger, spokesman for the Austin-Travis County EMS.
His burns were so severe that the man was airlifted by helicopter to an area hospital.

Ouch! for sure. Sounds like he was so drunk or drugged that he didn’t even wake up from the pain of it.

blisters? oh big deal. I’ve had sunburn so bad on my shoulders the skin turned black, peeled off, and left bleeding open sores that turned into one massive scab covering both shoulders.
I fell asleep by a pool on a cold day once wearing a sweatshirt and shorts and straw hat and my lower legs swelled up twice normal size and feet turned black and blue.

I’ve gotten some doozy sunburns but never bad enough to “alter” anything....
If I found Charlie Sheen nude, burned and unconscious on my deck, I’d probably downplay the incident, too.
If he did not have his wits about him, that indicates major heat stress. I wonder what his core temperature was? Likely dangerously high. Throw in likely acute dehydration as well. That’s ice bath and saline IV - but do you do the ice bath with the burn blisters?
Anyone seen Matthew McConaughey lateley? Was there a set of bongo drums and a bag of hash nearby?

That happened to me once when I was 11 years old. My parents moved to a place where there was a beautiful beach right in our back yard. I spent two days unprotected in the sun in one of the hottest places in the world. For a week I couldn't stand up without fainting.
