He was a half hour late. His head turned from side to side as if he were attending a tennis match. He practically never looked in the camera, as if he were averting our gaze. And those were the strong parts of President Obama

They knew the downgrade was coming and that is why the MSM/libs proclaimed the debt deal as a TEA Party victory even though the TEA Party oppsed it more than any other group. It was all a set up for this.

You know, that occurred to me, when I heard Axelrod. The Freepers were right, I was skeptical of my FR brethren, but yet again, they prove themselves right. Kinda creepy how that whole thing went down, very creepy.

Those who opposed the debt and deficit will be blamed for what high debt and deficits caused.

The MSM knows the sheeple will buy it

Nope, he was more like 45-50 minutes late. What was he doing? Having lunch? Finishing a cigaret? Filling out his bracket picks? Planning his next vacation? Throwing up?

Rush Limbaugh pointed out that him being near an hour late was his method of giving the finger to people (perhaps he was pissed that he couldn't blame this on George W. Bush).

The Messiah so loves to give the middle finger to people like some immature adolescent: HERE and HERE

That’s exactly what it is. Pure contempt for the people he ‘leads’. Nothing more.

Jennifer Rubin’s column at th ePost is called the Right Turn. She’s the house conservative. She isn’t another David Brooks either, she’s consistent.

Bingo. It’s all about redistribution of wealth from producers to those who don’t produce. Michelle said as much early on when she demanded that each of us give up a little so others could have more. How long before they simply confiscate what little wealth you have? Just take it. I’m sure that’s been discussed in the WH. And the London riots, surely Obama and dems will use that to threaten the US...encouraging lowlifes and minorities to copy London and France. Then he can declare martial law and send in his home troops. Oh, I heard that they released his I.Q. today, 160! Isn’t that interesting when we aren’t allowed to know anything else about the boy king. I don’t have any hair left to tear out.

I'll bet you any amount of money you want to lay down that BHO is still the president a month from now....and I'll even give you a one month lee-way (so...two months from now).

Put your money where your mouth is ;-)

Consider your self tapped. The Usurping Marxist Turkey in the WH has created a perfect storm scenario. And he’s not bumbling, he wants the US economy to crash. Marxists love crises—even if they must manufacture them. They are always better organized at the street level than their opponents and are therefore prepositioned to take advantage of the crisis.

As things stand now, the economic storm he has created will roar way out of control long before 2012. A strictly political solution to ridding ourselves of this Usurper seems to be slipping away.

Not sure where he’s gonna get the manpower and weapons for the final coup. His obvious sources will be inner city and unions. Perhaps some of the Blue States will try to mobilize their NG, but I don’t think many Guard members will support him. Other than that I don’t see the Army Reserve or Military Active Components supporting him.

Unthinkable you say. Hell, where we are now is unthinkable. Let’s not forget the contributions of Boehner, McConnell and DeMint have made toward putting us in this situation either.

Ideas anyone? We really need to start thinking about this.

Excerpts from Thomas Jefferson's First Inaugural and Washington's Farewell Address were quoted from "Our Ageless Constitution" (1987, reprinted 2008) here. That 292-page, beautifully illustrated volume also contains a treasury of original documents, excerpts from various writings of the founding period, a section of "Notable Quotations," and sections outlining the principles underlying the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, as well as a story of the sacrifices and services of the signers of the DOI.

A great source for the writings of the Founders, as well as other writings on liberty, is Liberty Fund's Library here. Just click on the link for the Liberty Library and search/enjoy.

BTW, what is "dolts"?

I spent decades “knowing” that Warren G. Harding was our worst president ever. Now I am learning that in fact, in spite of certain failings, Harding was probably one of our best ever, certainly worth more than a trainload of the same sort as Carter, Clinton or Obama.

He was “the worst” because he stood in the way of Woodrow Wilson’s socialist plans and the ambitions of the elite.

From the standpoint of Flyover Country...clearly one of the “best”
