I responded to what the poster posted. You can decide who owns the language for yourself, because it is not an obviously specific statement. It would fit Sarah Palin though, as what constitutes "right thing" is in the mind of the listener as projected upon the speaker. The reality of her actions is somewhat different than the desperately wishful perception of her pronouncements. Had I known or cared what she might have said about Rick Perry I certainly would have commented that it matches her virtually unbroken history of support for other RINOs like McCain and Fiorina. I wouldn't have missed the irony with which to temper the drooling ardor of so many FReepers for her fuzzy platitudes.
