You are correct on all points. NATO has been used twice now for what it was set up to resist - a tool of political and military coercion.

You summed up the problem better than even Pat Buchanan could do. I don’t agree with Patsy on a lot of things (especially his horrible blind spot with anything to do with Jews and Israel), but he sure has it right here. He is just wordier than you.
