With 16 surveillance cameras inside and out, he has the video to prove it. Last week, a mob of people descended on his store all at once after midnight .

"They start trashing the store [and] eating," Farah said while watching surveillance video of the incident. "It's like they're robbing the store."

While several paid, the rest ate, drink and stole before police could get there, Farah said.

"We had to clean up for two hours," he said. "Plus, merchandise is gone. A bunch of merchandise is gone."

Part of Farah's problem, officers said, is that three large apartment complexes are nearby his store.

Dallas police said officers have responded to 26 calls for help from his store this year, most coming within the last month for crimes like shoplifting, disorderly conduct and even aggravated assault.

Oak Cliff is a black area. This shop owner, perhaps Middle Eastern, bragged his store was so nice you wouldn't know it was in Oak Cliff. Too bad.

I had a customer in Dallas from India. He owned a nice home until the apartments down the road went south. This man ranted "Trash people move in! Trash people!" I'm just glad it was an Indian who said it. I guess they also are racists.

These are the very people that whine there is no shopping in their neighborhoods. The food deserts that Michelle talks about. I wouldn’t open a store in one of these areas for anything. I’ve driven through places in Chi town where the government high rises are. No stores anywhere near the places, nothing. Gee, does anyone really blame them?

Oh I like that! Maybe a normal shotgun with some kind of paintball cartridge. Shotguns are great, bird killer one minute and a Breneke slug bear defender the next.

Anywho, I can see major legal problems there. I think there is legal ability to dye and mark them, but hurting them gets the ambulance chasing jessie jacksons out. Maybe a water gun with dye? Maybe barriers that can come down via remote control in front of the glass and doors to hold them in? Lots of sticky legal stuff here.

One part shotgun, blow them away if they’re a danger.

One part paintball gun with permanent dye if they’re not a danger. Pelt them silly to mark them for police.

A paintball is .68-.70 caliber, which translates to a 14 gauge if you want to use the same barrel.

That is a really good idea.
