Hey don’t look at me, I have nothing nice to say about the Defense.

I think they are scumbags too.

We just keep fighting the good fight...we try our best..we uphold our freedoms..we keep electing people( and yes many dissapoint us)...we try to help those who really need it...we get angry over injustice..we try to show kindness and love...and then there are our own imperfections ( I have so few...ha)

Keep telling the truth as you see it.

The alternate juror: It’s a shame because it was an accident that became a murder scene.”

Breathtakingly stupid.

Excellent, Stat Man, excellent.

I am waiting for the defenders of the jury decision to tell us that the defendant was falsely accused and deserves millions of $$ compensation, and that they would hire her immediately as their children’s babysitter, right after she completes the gig posing for Hustler magazine, that is.

FALSELY ACCUSED, poor baby!

With that type of logic, hardly anyone would get convicted. According to you, as long as there is no conclusive DNA evidence, they get to walk. Jurors should absolutely use common sense. Unfortunately, it’s not that common.

Justice will, indeed, prevail in this case. It just didn’t happen in our court system today. This is a scenario that will play out with increasing frequency in day and years to come. If Casey Anthony should have been punished severely for the death of her child (and I believe she should have been) then there were others who should suffer the same punishment right along with her. Although I truly believe Casey simply left the child in the car trunk in a drugged state for too long, causing her to die; premeditated murder wasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

However, our society is full of people who make a living defending the indefensible, making excuses for the vilest of human behaviors and creating whole professions on the basis of shifting blame for any kind of vile act imaginable. If Casey Anthony deserves justice, then so does Dr. Keith Ablow and his ilk who defend the rights of those with sub-human, uncontrolled impulses to walk free among the rest of society.

Actually, justice really will be done in this case. Cindy and George Anthony will bear the full punishment they deserve for defending, lying for, supporting and enabling an offspring they had to know was a sociopath. Being a parent is no excuse for upholding and condoning behavior that will ultimately injure others.

One only has to take a look at society today to know how well the so-called “mental health” professionals are undermining the framework of personal responsibility, character and morals that are essential for the survival of any nation.

“The wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind exceeding fine” Those words don’t come from anything imagined by lawyers or our “justice system” and they will prevail in spite of the feeble efforts of men to undermine and circumvent them. Casey Anthony will receive her due and she won’t be alone.

Even Aphrodite Jones, who usually sides with the defense, says that the jury went to “shadow of a doubt” instead of “reasonable doubt”, which surprised me. She also said she believes Casey is guilty.

I still cannot believe Casey walks.

I’m curious, what made you think the Duke lacrosse players were guilty? I thought it was obvious from the start the slutty stripper was lying.

I find it hard to be angry with her because I am convinced her fate will be death at some point and if she’s “lucky” she’ll be in jail.

She is a sick and twisted person who will have to use drugs and booze to forget what she did to her child.

That stuff will kill you or put you in jail.

Let’s repeat this...

The alternate juror:

“It’s a shame because it was an accident that became a murder scene.”

Where did they get this EVIDENCE?! Obviously didn’t listen to the jury instructions.

Casey is a psychopath. It bothers her not at all what she did to her child. She forgot about Caylee the minute she tossed the bag away. She only remembers her now because of all the trouble Caylee has caused her with this trial and being locked away for 3 years. Really that’s how psychopaths think. They have no feelings.

screaminsunshine, your glee on this thread has been just a "bit" unbecoming. Even you did not think Casey Anthony would get out of this when the verdict was about to be read. May I remind you of your post? Yes, I think I will. post 427

Do not worry there will be another trial in a couple years.

Now, I have listened to you in the past week in a half, searched through the evidence for myself. I was pretty convinced, for myself, that there was enough evidence to convict her, even of death.

What little I've read from the alternate juror, is that he focussed on the dysfunctional family, was not convinced they had told the whole truth (duh), wasn't even convinced there was any decomposition in the car that Casey drove.

Wasn't it you who kept saying believe the dogs....they don't lie. They hit on decomp in the car and the backyard.....you kept repeating over and over, the dogs are believable. I agreed totally after reading their resumes and reading the testimony surrounding their finds. It kept me digging as to why they may have hit in the backyard because it wasn't adding up for me. If you hadn't noticed....I'm not a "mob-rule" (as so many on this thread are easily throwing around) kind of gal, or want to be popular. I search for evidence, theories that make sense, you get the drill.

Well, obviously the jurors (at least the alternate) didn't give a rip about the dogs, but focussed more on the family/ their testimony/ the defense's confusing molestation/not molestation/throw everything at the wall diatribe.

Now, I don't want to ever see an innocent person convicted. Neither do I want to see a jury make a decision on "feelings" or "confusion". I want them to make a decision on facts. IMO, they did not.

BTW, your prediction may be right. There may be another trial in a couple of years for Casey. Maybe it will be 10-20 years. Who knows. She will be back in court eventually for something. I hope there are no more dead victims associated with her.

All the points you made were very on target...and most likely they were true.

However, the prosecution made some very big mistakes as in going for capital murder instead of manslaughter...focusing on Casey’s character ( which, granted is not what we would want for our daughter..ha)and then not having specific evidence for what the charges were.

As for the dysfunctional family...well, that sure explains a lot of Casey’s bizzare behaviors and lying ( not that those are ok) and THAT is what the prosecution made the focal point. That whole family lies all the time, a skill Casey perfected. After all, they had her lie and so did the family that she wasn’t pregnant for over 7 months of her pregnancy. Just dumb of the prosecution to go on and on about that. that ironically helped the defense.

The defense ‘s role is to present a case that disputes and tears appart the prosecution’s case...and if they did that they have a right to celebrate ( even if it looks bad as PR)You can bet the prosecution would be giving themselves High-fives if they won !

...If that was me charged with something, I WANT the best defense possible! I want all the protections of the law AND I want that defense team to win. The Duke boys got a great defense too and I celebrated that one.

Even if the smell in the car was of a dead body...the prosecution had to link that better to Casey...and they didn’t.

What I learned is that you can kill your child, and as long as you dump her into a swampy area and lie about it so that the body is not found for six months so that they can't trace finger prints or DNA, your good.

Even if the child drown (which I don't think happened at all), would any person seriously wrap their child up and stick them in the trunk, smelling them decompose, before throwing them into the woods? That's perfectly ok? The defense didn't even deny that she did this, just said she “panicked”, and if she wouldn't have lied she wouldn't be facing any time.

The night her child died, that they (the defense) admitted in court, she was seen at Blockbuster renting a movie with her boyfriend. If my child drown in a pool I would not be renting movies laughing a few hours later. I don't like Nancy Grace, but flipping through the channels she had Mark Klauss on, father of the little girl Polly that was killed years ago. He is a victims advocate and I've always agreed with his opinion. He says she is most definitely guilty and will strike again, saying she is a sociopath. Her own attorneys requested the psychological exam last weekend, they thought she'd be found guilty and were looking for ways to keep her alive. Her Aunt is on Nancy Grace right now saying she was most definitely guilty and she is sick at the decision!

“Yes, you are correct...the prosecution DID meet their burden. But they had to deal with IDIOTS. Morons. People who were bored and did not listen or take notes. Who had their minds made up from the moment Bozo lied in opening statements. Child abuse? Drowned in the pool? Lazy, stupid DEMOCRATS from Pinellas County who wanted to go home and/or go on a cheap cruise.”

You hit it on the head...they are f cking morons...a jury of village idiots.
