2. A&W A large part of my teen years was “cruzin the loop” and hanging out at the A&W. Practically every Saturday there was an impromptu car show featuring the nicest rides in the valley.

I grew up in Glendale, California - home of the original Bob's Big Boy...........ditto on the cruising. RIP Bob's (other than the few faux franchises around the southwest).

The primo cruising drive-ins in Central FL in the 60s were Frish’s Big Boy and Steak n Shake.
