Fatal SWAT raid: just-released autopsy details Guerena's wounds

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Medical Examiner has released the official autopsy report on the death of Jose Guerena, the 26-year-old former U.S. Marine who was shot to death in a SWAT raid on May 5. The report confirms what a spokesman previously said to KGUN9 News by phone, that Guerena's body had 22 bullet entrance wounds. The report also shows that Guerena had many exit wounds as well. There were no drugs in his system.

The autopsy lists the manner of death as "homicide" caused by "multiple gunshot wounds." In the case of a Medical Examiner's report, this is a legal term that simply means the victim died at the hands of another human being. The term has no bearing on whether the shooting was justified. Separate investigations into that question are underway.

The report also notes that the body shows "no evidence of medical intervention."

It goes on to note in detail the entrance location and trajectory of each wound, most of which were on the victim's extremities.

The medical examiner found, in order:

one wound to the head, which the report describes as a graze;

one wound to the right upper chest;

one to the right lower chest;

one to the left upper abdomen;

three to the right upper arm;

one to the right elbow;

one to the right hand;

one to the left upper arm;

one to the left elbow;

one to the left forearm;

one to the left hand;

two to the right thigh;

one to the right calf,

one to the right foot;

four to the left thigh;

and one to the left foot.

I hit the 300 word limit before I could get the next paragraph. Shots to chest did not hit his heart.

The first guy to shoot is Hispanic. (I think based on his name. Hector something-or-other.)

This was police on citizen crime. I suspect that the SWAT team is made up of officers from many racial backgrounds, including hispanic, especially in Arizona.

Gee, where’s the Whitehouse intervention on ... oh wait. The Sheriff is the one that started the blood libel against Palin. He’s Obama’s best buddy down there.

Sheriff Clarence Dupnik told KGUN9 News the use of the SWAT team was justified, and that it did what it had to do when Guerena pointed a gun.

Looking more and more like a murder to cover up Pima SD participation in the drug game.

Guerena's mugshot, following a 2009 arrest involving drugs and a weapon

Arrested in 2009, was he convicted of anything?

http://www.kgun9.com/story/14774473/guerena-had-2009-arrest-but-no-formal-charges

KGUN9 News has been hearing from viewers who wanted 9 On Your Side investigators to dig deeper into a tip that even if Jose Guerena did not have a criminal record, he did have a significant arrest. KGUN9 News did find confirmation of an arrest in Pinal County, and even obtained Guerena’s mug shot. However, 9 On Your Side has learned that arrest did not result in charges.

Don't imply with that photo that he was either charged or convicted of drug or weapons violations.

Wow, the other shoe finally drops. That's why they released actual footage of them murdering him - they wanted it out as a warning (and as a wonderful message to the rest of America about the police). After all, when was the last time you actually saw footage of a SWAT team actually killing someone? And this from Dupnik, who still hasn't released the surveillance footage of Loughner shooting. Naw, it's all planned.

Left him bleeding out with a sucking chest wound....what a crummy way to go.

The other story at one of the links is that the first cop to shoot didn’t know whether Guerena had raised the weapon or not before he opened up. Combine that with the other cop stories about “returning fire” when no shots were fired in their direction and it sure looks like the cops screwed up every bit as bad as many of us have been saying all along.

Was it his weapon? Was he convicted? Was he let go? Any violent crime in his past? Did he deserve to bleed to death while some delusional, trigger happy nuts watched from the doorway?

Guerena's mugshot, following a 2009 arrest involving drugs and a weapon

In a car with three others, and some marijuana and a gun were found.

Guerena had NO EVIDENCE OF DRUGS IN HIS BODY. He wasn't a pot user, and so the marijuana in the car was almost certainly not his. Were the other two in the car charged?

It looks more and more like the cowardly cops murdered him, now they are trying to murder his reputation with baseless slurs.
