At 1:28 we get a good look at the cop’s face.
He looks like a chubby Charlie Sheen.
1) Nothing good happens past 10pm. Be home.
2) "Yes sir", "No Mam", "Thank you", and "Please" will get you alot further in life.
3) When bullied, fight back.
4) Stand by your convictions.
5) Be nice to cops and do whatever they say no matter what. You might be able to win your case in a court, but never on "his/her turf".
I’m not sure what the context is, but I did see him slap her first. She reacted to the slap. No excusing striking a cop, but he did perform the first assault.
She wasn’t even the one the cops were trying to arrest, but she tried to stop the police. She put her hands on the cop first. He slapped her back, and she threw a punch. Thats when he punched her. I would say it was justifiable force.
One good turn deserves another. If she thinks she is man enough to dole out the punches then she certainly is man enough to take them.
What is up with all of the violence at fast food joints? I don’t remember this being a problem when I was growing up.
It was not clear what started the struggle around 4 a.m. Sunday, but the incident started as a conflict between the officer, working a second job at the Buckhead restaurant, and another woman with the one who was hit. Atlanta Police officer punches woman in face ..............

Pretty busy for 3:00 AM, even on a Saturday.
Looks like the cop was trying to drag her girlfriend from the booth when she grabbed the cop. The cop slapped her, she struck back and the cop punched her.
No info on how this started.
Man that’s one fat cop. Best way to deal with him is walk away at a fast pace, he’d be out of breath and puking before he got ten steps.

They should both get jail time for stupidity.
Unfortunately the officer will probably be forced to cower before the reigning PC thugs. He’ll get a stern reprimand at best, and termination at worse, and then be charged criminally and civilly for doing his job. Escalated force was clearly justified here.
The rules against hitting ladies only ever applied to LADIES, these skanky gutter ho’s of today don't deserve that kind of treatment, and will in fact use it against you as they and their all girl posse give you the beat down of your life.

Anyway, I feel bad for the woman but she was wrong. Unless there's way more to the story.
It would be interesting to know what happened that led the officer to try and subdue/arrest someone sitting in a booth. That might help explain why that woman made such a poor decision to get in on the action. Was it a simple failure to respect the LEO’s authoriti that started the whole thing?

Too close to deploy taser, or baton, and bad idea to deploy mace in an crowded restaurant that is already agitated. Good way to get somebody crushed stampeding for the door.
Folks, police are trained constantly to immediately react violently to being touched, especially if they are arresting someone.
What’s worse, getting punched in the face AT IHOP, or getting punched in the stomach BY IHOP?
You never try to interfere with a lawful arrest. At the very least, the officer has to have a continual concern that somebody may go for his gun.
If you think the officer is being unlawful, be an eyewitness.
