This happened at an I-HOP, a police officer punching a woman at an I-HOP during an arrest.

She deserved it.
At 1:28 we get a good look at the cop’s face.
He looks like a chubby Charlie Sheen.
1) Nothing good happens past 10pm. Be home.
2) "Yes sir", "No Mam", "Thank you", and "Please" will get you alot further in life.
3) When bullied, fight back.
4) Stand by your convictions.
5) Be nice to cops and do whatever they say no matter what. You might be able to win your case in a court, but never on "his/her turf".

I’m not sure what the context is, but I did see him slap her first. She reacted to the slap. No excusing striking a cop, but he did perform the first assault.
She wasn’t even the one the cops were trying to arrest, but she tried to stop the police. She put her hands on the cop first. He slapped her back, and she threw a punch. Thats when he punched her. I would say it was justifiable force.
One good turn deserves another. If she thinks she is man enough to dole out the punches then she certainly is man enough to take them.
What is up with all of the violence at fast food joints? I don’t remember this being a problem when I was growing up.
It was not clear what started the struggle around 4 a.m. Sunday, but the incident started as a conflict between the officer, working a second job at the Buckhead restaurant, and another woman with the one who was hit. Atlanta Police officer punches woman in face ..............

Pretty busy for 3:00 AM, even on a Saturday.
Looks like the cop was trying to drag her girlfriend from the booth when she grabbed the cop. The cop slapped her, she struck back and the cop punched her.
No info on how this started.
Man that’s one fat cop. Best way to deal with him is walk away at a fast pace, he’d be out of breath and puking before he got ten steps.
She deserves several more, as long as she continues attacking the officer.
Given today's violent “women” running around, the officer was correct in his response. While it goes against my gentleman ethos, sadly the fact is we have a violent female animal class out there, insisting upon acting like male animals and they should be dealt with accordingly. Can't be claiming 100% equality, insist women can do every job a man can do (like combat), but yet, expect and demand special treatment when acting violently.
By grabbing the officer what did she think was going to happen? Sheesh, she is an idiot.

If you review the clip, you will see she was grabbing the officer in an attempt to interfere physically with some sort of arrest of a guy in the booth. She grabbed him, first.
They should both get jail time for stupidity.
That’s because she wouldn’t release her grip with her left hand on the girl in the same booth with whom she was having a disagreement.
she was tugging and pushing on his shoulder first. It was far from an unprovoked slap from the officer.
Cops are understandably nervous about someone getting grabby with them. Too often they get the cop’s gun out and start shooting.
The video obviously was edited to start where it does, presumably to try to make the cop look bad. From what I can see, he was entirely justified.
My Dad taught me a gentleman NEVER strikes a lady. But if a female person hits you, she ain’t no lady and is fair game for retaliation.
