I can’t tell you their motives any more than you can tell me you ‘know’ Obama was born anywhere but on this planet somewhere. Until we see an LFBC we simply do not know. Beck, Coulter Bachmann et al can ‘believe’ whatever they want. Until they do their duty as journalists and elected officials respectively, I don’t much care what their ‘beliefs’ are.
Why is it so wrong to want the leader of your country prove he isn’t a BS artist at best, or a total fraud at wort? Can you answer that?
I’m fine with Palin. Love her. But show me the real long form and all the rest of the missing records and then this particular issue would be history.
What other issues outweigh whether someone meets the constitutional requirements to attaon office. If a candidate is not willing to confront the Usurper head one with his eligibility to hold office, then you don’t get my vote.

I think where Palin outshines people like Bachmann, is that she instinctively knows the right question to ask, and can see an inconsistency when it's staring her right in the face.
Bachmann, should have immediately questioned the validity of the document she was shown, or told Stephy that she'd have to look it over with a competent examiner to make a judgment.
At the very least, she could have simply wisecracked that she couldn't be expected to make a snap judgment in a television interview about something as important as a president's (alleged) birth certificate.
Bottom line - Bachmann proved that she is tragically uninformed about the constitutional issues with Obama's (alleged) eligibility, and that his (alleged) COLB is extremely problematic.
She's obviously not ready for the big time. No presidential candidate worth their salt would ever allow themselves to be blindsided like that by a partisan MSM hack. She walked in there not knowing that Stephy was going to do this, and to make matters worse, she proved to be completely out of her depth on the issue.
Crap. Most Freepers would have had Stephy wishing he could sink into the couch. This stuff isn't rocket science. It's civics 101.

He was attempting to embarrass her; unfortunately, he succeeded.
The GOP needs to understand that they will never get a fair shake or sympathetic ear from ABCNNBCBS so they need to astutely put them down instead, ala Bush Sr. did to RatherBiased. Sure, that will piss them off; Good! F’em.

So you’re saying that if Obama releases his BC tomorrow and it proves that he was born in the US to parents that qualify him as NBC, despite the fact this term was never defined in the COnstitution, that you are going to sit back and say, “Okay, Obama is not a BS artist or a total fraud”. No need to answer the question, I already know the answer.
That is why, to the general public, this looks like a kooky attack on Obama from people who are prone to dislike him anyway. The effort does nothing to advance the conservative agenda, which is more critical now then any time in history.
There is important work to do and this is a distraction. Worse, there are those who will turn on true conservatives because they won’t jump on this “going nowhere bandwagon”. Some are turning on Bachmann? Rally? That is harmful and destructive to conservatism.

I would gladly admit that the natural born citizenship clause is of great significance in particular its exact meaning. This is not only a matter of significance in regard to the nature of Obama’s legitimacy but also in regard to the illegal immigration issue.
I can PROVE he is not a legal President from what we currently know just using the Constitution.
Fact Number One
Congress is REQUIRED to ensure that the President elect is eligible for the office or they must name a replacement if the Vice President elect is also ineligible. (Twentieth Amendment, section three)
”3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.”
Fact Number Two
The burden of proof is on the President elect to prove eligibility. The sequence of words from section three stating "if the President elect shall have failed" is describing an action by the "President elect" that he failed at.
Fact Number Three
The eligibility requirements in Article Two, section one clearly state that NO PERSON who fails to meet the eligibility requirements can serve as President. "No Person" leaves absolutely no wiggle room for anyone who might possibly fool his way into being sworn in through fraudulent representation or Congressional neglect in enforcing section three of the Twentieth amendment.
" No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
Fact Number Four
Since Congress must act if the President elect fails to qualify, Congress must be made aware of whether they must act or not. This means that a legal "qualification" is fully known by Congress and that there is no mystery whether someone was eligible to serve or not. That is, if that "qualification" was made.
Fact Number Five
We have mystery about the eligibility of the person currently calling himself "President". Nothing but mystery.
Fact Number Six
Since we have "mystery" this means that a "qualification" was NOT made and thus the President elect has "failed to qualify" and cannot be serving legally as President.
Fact Number Seven
"We have no birth certificate" EQUALS "We have a usurper".
Fact Number Eight
It is the duty of Congress to immediately address this issue as per section three of the Twentieth amendment or they are breaking their oath of office from Article Six to "support this Constitution".
Add up the facts and we have usurpation along with a Congress unwilling to address it.
You mean the portion that refers to qualifications for occupying the Office of President in terms of "who's your Daddy?"

I think alot of this really comes down to people just want the win without the fight. Perhaps they have forgotten how, maybe just used to demagoguery by the left and are used to losing. Is that the truth? I don’t know but I can remember a time when people were willing to go to the wall over important issues - issues of right and wrong - and not sit and strategize their way into immobility.
The bottom line here is simple. Obama’s father was not born here by his own admission and so he is not eligible, Period.
He has spent millions of dollars hiding something that “may” well prove even more fraud by him, the Democrat and “Republican” parties.
Congress can argue with him over budgets and all the rest but they are arguing with an illegitimate president. As such they are contributors to the fraud and illegitimate presidency because they all know his father’s lack of citizenship renders him ineligible.
Every day he illegitimately sits in that office, he drives America further into debt.

Bachmann has been on a couple of rodeos recently where she has failed to make the 8 second ride. She has decent conservative credentials, but that alone won’t cut it. The number of people questioning his BC is INCREASING not decreasing.
I can assure you that I could have answered StepObamas question without folding my tent and without categorically saying that he was not a citizen and at the same time accused StepO of being a lapdog for the Democrat party. The trick is to make him start answering questions rather than allow yourself to be on the defensive.
The MAJOR objective of all of these leftwingers is to pin one that questions in the corner. Instead you pin them in the corner by telling them they are not doing their job and that they are propogandists, not journalists. Ask them to take a similar birth certificate (like Obamas) and see if they can get a passport with it. The answer is NO (direct personal experience here)! Ask them why they think Obutthole his used legal action to prevent public access to his long form certificate. Ask him if he believes the public has a right to see unequivocal documentation. Keep interrupting him while he tries to interrupt you.
