Poll: Obama's approval hits new low
Politico ^ | 3-30-11 | JENNY EPSTEIN

President Barack Obama’s approval rating and prospects for reelection have plunged to all-time lows in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

Half of the registered voters surveyed for the poll think that the president does not deserve a second term in office, while 41 percent say he does. In another Quinnipiac poll released just four weeks ago, 45 percent said the president did not deserve reelection, while 47 percent said he did.

The decline in support for a second Obama term comes as his approval rating has dropped 4 percentage points since early March, landing at 42 percent – a record low – in the poll released Wednesday. His disapproval rating has risen from 46 percent to 48 percent.

Unless he can figure out a way of inserting some imaginary serial number into the system, he can’t.................

Over $60 to fill up my car yesterday - just the way Obama wants it.

Yep, and all those progressive Republicans who support him.

Good news but the only poll that matters is 11/6/2012.

I don't think he's a "lock" for reelection but even with the chaos, vacations, 3rd war and non-recovery recovery he's likely to be reelected.

Yes: 34%

No: 57%

If this gap does not narrow significantly over the next 21 months, Obama is toast and he could well be blown out.

Actually I think the Democrat Party and their race-baiting enablers are counting on that. Will give them several more decades to harp on what a rotten, evil, racist country this is.

...You also have to remember that only 25% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction. If that number is even remotely close to 25% in November 2012, I find it hard to believe Obama could legitimately win a second term. Only thru massive voter fraud can he win...

As Buckeye McFrog pointed out earlier in this thread, gas prices and grocery prices will do him in.

It doesn’t matter. The main thing is to first take the country back and then everything after that is in second place.

This polling company tends to oversample democrats.

And they still couldn't come up higher than 41% approval? I bet his true numbers range in the mid-30's.

Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president.

This 24% will gradually increase in numbers and eventually destroy the nation unless they are educated, welfare is stopped and government is shrunk.

I am constantly amazed when I post negative BO articles on Facebook how many libs attack me! They are still supporting him, in fact I doubt they will ever stop, they put him in office.
I have also had to de-friend quite a few people!

Bingo on the 3 feet of media insulation.
His media openly campaigned for him and will never admit that they were wrong. They will continue to campaign for him and won’t turn on him. They are of the same mindset.

Interesting thing here is most politicians read their pols then act to raise their poll number. ozero doesn’t give a rat’s rear about this pols. I figure that it is either due to arrogance or he knows the fix is in and he will never be held responsible for his actions.

Can you imagine:

a) supporting a Democrat - any Democrat

b) supporting a candidate based on his race and/or exotic-sounding name

c) supporting a candidate because you fell for kindergarten-level one-word, one-syllable slogans like ‘hope’ and ‘change’

d) supporting a candidate who attempted to change the subject or lied outright when simple questions about his background and upbringing were raised

e) applying a sticker to your car for said candidate

f) believing, for a significant amount of time (months into years) that this candidate was up the the job and was effective in office

g) having to deal with the cognitive dissonance involved in realizing the chasm between the ideal and the reality

h) sheepishly creeping out to your vehicle in the twilight and removing said sticker

i) being a helpless enough ward of the state (via employment, welfare or both) that you have no idea how to remove the adhesive residue left over.

Ya gotta wonder: was Rush “rope-a-doping” us yesterday? I think he was setting up Obama for this massive failure that Rush sensed was coming.

But, but, but didn't he tell us this is not a war? Only words....................

He will only run for a second term after he manufactures a pristine forgery of a long form birth certificate.

I doubt that will happen - it would require too many people to be in on the conspiracy and someone will squeal for the right price. It is only human nature. This is why the 911 truthers are such nut cases. There either is a birth cert or there is not. If there is one, there has to be something very damaging on it, and we will never see it.

It is gas prices + libya/budget/vacations/indifference

I filled my tank this morning and spent $88.61

That is TERRIBLE.

Obama’s buddies are raking it in.

Amongst WHITE VOTERS:

Does Obama deserve to be re-elected?

YES: 34%

NO: 57%

With this numbers alone there is no way in hell that Obama is ahead of any GOP presidential contender, including Sarah Palin in a head to head matchup by 15-20 points. Those numbers are simply fabricated, bogus and created out of whole cloth.

I’m surprised his approval rating is that high. Who are the fools who actually like him?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” — Author Unknown
