I wonder when the shooting starts and the tanks start rolling over the people, or whether it turns into a kind of festival atmosphere with the military on the side of the people and then the tanks going to the Presidential office. One wonders if there is a split between the military and the Interior Ministry over this whole thing. Will be interesting. I personally think it is a kind of one big Cloward Plivens “CF” taking place, out of order, nasty elements come in and take power. 1917 comes to mind. El-Baradei could just be a useful puppet at this point, brought in for a purpose and then just convenient disregarded by more radical elements, just licking their cops in the corner. I doubt that even El-Baradei is even representative of the crowd nor will he emerge as a defacto leader; plenty of young people dont necessarily put their support behind him, either. What a MESS.
Of course it is, its by the backdoor method.
Erdogan made a public comment many years ago in Turkey when he said “Democracy is a train you use until you want to get off”
