Actually all this news is in the Near East, not the Middle East.

The Middle East is east of the Euphrates River (the Persian and Hindi nations)

The Near East is the Shemetic nations (Arab, Turk and Hebrew).

Should it hit the Middle East, it may become nuclear.

Beck was pretty intense- he finally came out and said the biggest reason the islamists hate us is because of “our friends”...he believes it’s our inteference in the ME that has caused the hatred- which is what bin Laden says too. Strange bedfellows.

Beck's either an idiot or ? Islamic jihadis hate everyone who isn't a Muslim. They've slaughtered millions of Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, animists and anyone else who isn't Muslim since 700 AD. They'd hate the US even if Israel did not exist. This makes me want to puke. This stupid statement of his proves he is biased and knows no history or the nature of Islam at all.

I'm very disgusted with this idiotic, wrong and worse than studid nonsense he spewed.

I don’t have a TV so I’ve never seen his show, radio is very hard to get where I live so haven’t heard him on the radio. From everything I read about him, or trasncripts etc on FR, I distrust him in the extreme. Now I’ve read about his new book and it sounds like new age crapola.

But the crap cherry on the cake is this veiled anti-Semitic statement blaming Israel, which oddly enough is exactly the AQ et al position, or excuse, in truth.

Beck now officially disgusts me to the max.

Revolutions rarely include the entire populace.

Even the American revolution did not sweep the entire nation. Huge portions of the population were Tories.

Others, like most of the Egyptians, just do not seem to care one way or the other—they are just interested in getting enough food for today.

The American Revolution... This nation's first Civil War. Split three ways. 1/3 for Freedom, 1/3 for England (Tories), 1/3 wanting to be left alone. While not given the full credit for ending the Revolution, the Hornet's Nest turned out to be the key for winning our Freedom. Cowpens, Gilford Courthouse, Kings Mountain, prior to Kings Mountain, Waxhaw proved to turn Cornwallis (north) to Yorktown. While my spelling sometimes eludes me, the history of the southeast, thankfully, I remember well. Personally, I think I would have been better suited to those times than I am for these times. Little Jeremiah-I am by no means defending Glenn Beck in all his positions, but I do want to note in this instance when he was referring to our “friends” he was talking about Mubarak and other dictators we have supported because we feared the alternative would be worse. He referenced the Shah of Iran and Sadam Hussein also. He was not referring to Israel. He supports Israel and fears for their safety. Hope this helps you feel a smidge better. Not Fox, not CNN (even their website has its most recent entry more than 4 hours old), not AP, BBC has a report from almost 90 minutes ago.
