Top Chef Tom Colicchio Scrapes Bottom of the Barrel During Giffords Tragedy
News Busters ^ | January 12, 2011 | Doug Ernst

Posted on 01/13/2011 12:17:29 PM PST by Citizen X_Area 51

Anyone who’s seen Bravo’s "Top Chef" knows Tom Colicchio. He’s a man who knows how to cook and a man who knows good food. And, while his taste buds work magnificently, he’s apparently politically tone deaf. In the wake of Representative Giffords' shooting last weekend he served up a dish that turned the majority of the country’s stomach. He wrote on Twitter:

Sarah Palin had Rep Gifford in her crosshairs. She is now officially dangerous.

A cook commenting on current events and politics.

Remind me to ask my plumber about Gothic sculpture.

I’ve kept a list of celebs who’ve viciously maligned Sarah Palin. Originally it was for boycotting purposes. But it has taken on greater meaning lately. If any harm comes to Palin, this list becomes much, much more important.

If it were not for double-standards the Left would have no standards at all.

Amen

Glad is the major sponsor of the show

Is that "Glad" or "Glaad"? Probably similar enough...

He’s just feeding the liberal BRAVO audience the pablum they desire.

He just closed his Atlanta restaurants.

Maybe we can help close some of the others.

-- Here are a list of his restaurants so that you can (like me in NYC) STOP eating there --

How about a locator maps with CROSSHAIRS?

Glad is the major sponsor of the show, ponying up most of the costs and prize money. That’d be the easiest target; the rest of the sponsors are cookware, knives, etc.

They push Buitoni pasta, and there is some winery involved this year. I just saw the last episode last night, in 'In Demand'. I think the show airs on BRAVO.

Or simply give the restaurant an on-line glowing review.

He seems to have somewhere gotten the letters “ft” confused with the letter “p”. Sad. Must be a product of the pubic school system (misspelling intentional).

“Used to watch Top Chef, but last season in DC was it for me”

Amen and ditto for me. It used to be the one show I enjoyed that one could escape from politics. I believe it was the first episode on that show where one of the contestants was singing Odumbo’s praises. I clicked it off and never went back

Thanks.

I’m seeing my dentist tomorrow.

I’m on pins and needles to hear his take on the latter Baroque Period of Classical music.

Then its on to my roofer, for an expert dissertation on the Austrian School of economic theory.

Bravo TV has a contact link at the bottom of its page. Email them your concerns. Tom wouldn’t touch FR, but he will get the message if you email Bravo

Don’t know this greaseball, don’t care, don’t watch! Sounds like a moron so I would assume everything he touches in life is moronic also.
