After seeing one video of the extravagance in Cancun, I'm not surprised that no one wants to be there. The failure and hypocrisy is overwhelming, even for people that celebrate failure and hypocrisy.

Last year, he [Waxman] joined Speaker Nancy Pelosi and dozens of other congressmen in taking staffers and spouses to the party in Copenhagen. My guess is these scumbags are more afraid of the being anywhere in Mexico, than relinquishing their belief in their "globull" religion.

That was good! I will re-subscribe to Washington Times after all.
One wonders if the Mexican drug cartel's penchant for kidnapping and random barrages of automatic weapons fire will go TDY to Cancun. Fat, happy, stupid targets EVERYWHERE...

I guess some people got rich while they could over this farce. How long will it take for school children and teachers to realize it isn’t true? Until the next scam comes along?

In my opinion, the lies, deceptions, and corruption coming out of this Regime, this Congress, the thugs in the Fed, et al. is centered in the politicians in this government. Behold arrogant, amoral Elitists. IMO and the opinion of We The People, they are loathsome power-hungry, traitors. These enemies of freedom have sold out their country, her freedom, and our children and grandchildren’s future for their own self-serving quest for power.

I'm glad that it is finally pronounced dead.
Sort of like disco being pronounced dead in 1994.
How many months or years before the quacks noticed that the decaying patient wasn't breathing?
I STILL run onto yahoos on Answerbag that swear alligence to Al “Tommy Flanagan” Gore because, “All the scientists agree.”
Sheesh!

Some 45,000 delegates, "activists," business representatives and the usual retinue of journalists registered for the party in Copenhagen. This year, only 1,234 journalists registered for the Cancun beach party. What an amazing amount of wasted time, money and carbon credits by these idiots.

This story is very amusing, but the fact is that our economy is seriously hobbled by the EPA and a variety of laws that make it difficult, time consuming and expensive, if not impossible, to produce things in this country. That's what our elected leaders need to attack.
Defund the EPA if you can't abolish it. Start returning environmental regulation to the states. Those who want industry will provide the climate for it, and those who don't want it can go to hell and feel really good about themselves doing it.

But then maybe everyone is staying home because they haven’t allowed time on their schedule to be kidnapped. It takes a real chunk out of the work-week.
