I might be able to see food stamps for the basics, but childcare costs? School lunches? Rent subsidies? Utility bill assistance?

And there are other things not lsted on this list like th program which hands out cellular phones free of charge. Probably a hundred other things too.

Yes there are other things. Part of the “welfare to work” program provides the client with money to purchase a car, money for he purchase of uniforms & work clothes, gas money, child care funding, & of course, a stipend that will cover textbooks. The biggest part of this is given in cash, too, and the recipients know it. So where do you think the cah actually goes? I can tell you it most likely doesn’t go for its stated intent. And there’s no accountability for it. How stupid.
