Glenn Beck said today that he has spoken to military experts about the mystery contrail from a few weeks ago and he says it’s definitely not a plane, but rather a two stage missile. He just wants to know where it came from, and he has a theory. Beck postulates that this missile was possibly from a Chinese sub off the coast of California, perhaps as a show of force to the world, but even more so to President Obama.

Oh yeah. It's always a good idea to ignore all other facts and concentrate only on what your eyes are telling your noggin. That will never fail you...
Let’s say just for chuckles that we have no idea which direction the Cargolaw webcam was pointing. We do, but let’s pretend.
We can see the same two clouds on the Sky2 footage and the Cargolaw pic. That means we are looking at the same contrail and that both pics include the same section of sky. There is simply no way that an object heading west or northwest from the Sky2 helo would appear to be headed east or southeast from Cargolaw. And if they’re not photographing the same object at roughly the same time, that sure is a boatload of coincidences, ain’t it?
As for time...the stamp is right on the photo. Looks like they forgot to move the clock back an hour at the end of DST, but it’s right there.
Yardstick, if you haven’t seen it already, note that Contrail Science used the Cargolaw photo to once again show that the head of the “missile” trail” just happens to match where UPS 902 was at the time the photo was taken.
So, we can accept it’s UPS 902, or we can buy into the government photoshop cabal theory.
(As I said earlier, my #21 & # 34 on my "RAW VIDEO" thread show how I use that "forked" cloud as a temporal benchmark.)

1) The contrail has extended well beyond my "forked index cloud", which is now right on the (shadow) horizon.
2) Even though the copter is well south of Warren's apartment, the contrail has drifted far enough south that it has the "leftward lean" typical of views of it from the north. (Clear indication that it is headed East, of course.)
3) The A/C has long since stopped producing persistent contrail; it should be in the vicinity of Catalina -- or, even, approaching "feet dry"...
I think we will have better luck with other means of triangulation.
Wonder if any of the folks in the "genius squad" in the "missile camp" can explain that one away..
No, it's flying eastward. It's just that you don't understand how foreshortening works. You don't have the spatial reasoning to translate 2D images into 3D reality. You are easily fooled.
When you see a contrail pointing to the left you simplistically interpret it as traveling south. When you see a contrail pointing upward you simplistically interpret it has traveling vertically. You totally fail to account for the component of the velocity that's directed towards the viewer but which because of the flattening effect of 2D images isn't obvious.
That effect is called foreshortening. If you don't take it into account you wind up arriving at silly conclusions that require conspiracy theories to prop them up. It's an easy mistake to make, and you are making it.
I plotted the Lat/Long of UPS902 at 5:16 and drew a line from that position to the Cargo Law LAX camera. It lines up perfectly with the view from the Cargo Law photos. Now if I could just figure out how to post a Google image on FR I could share it.
Another day, and still zero evidence from the missile crowd.

I didn’t cut and paste anything. I wrote that just a few minutes ago. Figures a parrot like you would think so though. LOL
The picture below is the same view as the one above, but obviously brighter. Note the palm trees and powerline poles on the horizon and how they line up with the photo above. Also note the destinctive domed roof features on the LAX terminal buildings. Comparing the two photos, the contrail ends just above the powerline pole at the left side of the photo. 
This is my first Google image and just shows the red line connecting the coordinates of UPS902 at 17:16 and the location of the LAX camera on the building housing the law firm of Countryman and McDaniel.
The Google image below shows the line connecting the camera and UPS902 and how it tracks across LAX.
This is a closer view of the red azimuth line and how it tracks by the domed roof features of the LAX terminal buildings. It tracks to the left (south) of the first dome.
Below is the key Google image. The powerline poles are difficult to see, but they are the grey structures in the green space between the housing development and the chemical plant. The red azimuth line tracks between the two powerline poles visible in the second photo, and just to the right of the powerline pole to the left side of that photo. Not directly over it, but within a few feet. Comparing all the photos and the azimuth line, it is apparent that everything lines up pretty well based on the time of the photo, the lat/long of the FlightAware track of UPS902, and an azimuth line connecting the two.
