NEW YORK — A passenger at John F. Kennedy International Airport has been removed from a Tampa-bound JetBlue flight due to a security concern.
JetBlue spokeswoman Jenny Dervin says the passenger was taken off JetBlue Flight 21. The plane was scheduled to depart JFK at 6:59 p.m. Saturday.
She did not give a reason for the passenger’s removal. She says the aircraft has been re-screened and is scheduled to depart for Tampa at about 9:10 p.m.
No other details were immediately available.

In May, a man was arrested for trying to board a JetBlue flight from Puerto Rico to Boston with “a stun gun, a pepper spray canister, four box cutters, and a switch blade knife,” as well as “two lighters, six batteries, a button device attached to a wire that gives a charge when pressed, a flight simulator program, scissors, three boxes of matches, and New York city information cards.”
“U.S. authorities said they had not found any evidence linking the case to terrorism. In Rhode Island, the man’s son, also named Jose Pol, said the suspect’s girlfriend believes he was bringing the knives to help her cut boxes at her job in the produce section of a Wal-Mart.”

Your right. Some of the strangest people fly Jet Blue out of NYC. Really strange people.
Strange, and often drunk.
And hopped up on the so-called healthy snacks that JetBlue pushes which is really just junk food with fancy labels.
