Parents: Dying Girl, 7, Taunted by Neighbors in Trenton

TRENTON, Mich. - Her family says 7-year-old Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of a degenerative brain disorder diagnosed as Huntington's Disease - the same disease which killed her mother, Laura, when she was only 24.
A neighbor who is feuding with the family admitted to posting grim depictions of Laura and Kathleen on Facebook, and also has a coffin hitched to a pick-up truck in front of the house - which the neighbor says is for a halloween decoration.
One photo depicts Laura in the arms of the grim reaper, while the other features Kathleen's face above a set of crossbones.
Police responded to the public feud Thursday, but no arrests were made.
A rally for Kathleen Edward has been planned for Saturday, Oct. 23 from 3 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Haas Park in Trenton.
The invitation reads: She has been tormented by sadistic neighbors. Please come and join us in showing Kathleen there are good people that care.

I could understand some dissent between the mothers of these two families, but to take it out on a 7 year-old child is beyond the pale.

The little girls family had a birthday party and there was a bouncy thing, the biotch texted to see if her kids could come over, apparently they did not respond fast enough...
The video is vile beyond words...they already have a facebook page of the bitch and it has gone viral on youtube. This chick is in for it big time!! And she deserves everything she gets plus more!!!!

My guess is that he is talking about the other bullying threads where some FReepers feel that the bulliers should be be prosecuted for anything from manslaughter to felony murder because the bullying victims were so totally debilitated and destraught from the bullying that they had no other possible course of action than committing suicide, thereby making the bulliers guilty by proxy of either deliberately or negligently killing the suicide victim (depending on the extent to which you are willing to make other people responsible for your actions). Other FReepers on those threads take the position that the victims should just "man up" and deal with the bullying rather than committing suicide. It seems a more prevalent view on those threads is that bulliers should be charged with whatever crimes they may have committed (stalking, harassment, assault, or whatever) but that seeking to elevate the charges because the punishment for those crimes doesn't seem harsh enough since the victim is dead is inconsistent with conservative principles like rule of law and personal responsibility.

I totally agree with you. Although many will believe that when the poor little girl dies, it will be the fault of that nasty bullying neighbor.
Just like when Clementi died, it was Ravi’s fault.
