Cornyn Doesn't Sugarcoat O'Donnell (Bret Baier said NSRC WILL NOT support O’Donnell)
CNN ^ | Tuesday, September 14, 2010 | Dana Bash

12:19 p.m. ET – I just ran into NRSC head John Cornyn coming off the elevator. Most Washington Republicans will tell you on background they think the Delaware Senate pick up is gone for them if Christine O'Donnell wins the GOP primary, but they are reluctant to say so on the record.

Cornyn came pretty close.

He said that not only does he have doubts about whether O'Donnell can win in Delaware, but he also admitted that race is the "lynchpin" to any chance of Senate Republicans taking back the majority.

SNIP

I then asked If O'Donnell wins, are you going to pull your money out of there?

"I think we'll have to have a little powwow," said Cornyn, laughing, as he walked away.

"I think we'll have to have a little powwow," said Cornyn, laughing, as he walked away.

Well, he can keep on laughing as contributions to his worthless Senate re-election committee continue to dry up.

Massive outbreak of cootie fear. Castle love seems totally out of control. I have a vision of a huge triple sized bed with Castle, and half the Republican party ‘flagrante delicto’.

Yeah, well, he better get his mind right. Rush just shot across the bow with a 3rd party threat about 20 minutes ago. When Rush of all people starts talking like that, they better damn well listen.

John, have you not been watching the news? You have just signed your own political death warrant.

Wanted, John Cornyn, politically dead, armed & dangerous

Thank you. I love the fact that at least some of these people are being outed for what they are.

Cornyn needs to be retired from public office. We need to return him to private life.

Party politics IS the problem. And it’s hard to fight, but if we keep playing the game it will just go on and on, and we will continue to be the losers because the Dems are far better at it, because they are better at corruption.

Cornyn has certainly done a good job of defining himself this year.

It is a sickening prospect that after Nov. these guys (Cornyn, Boehner, et al) will be “in charge,” under the impression that the sea change to come is somehow an endorsement of THEM, rather than a massive revolt against D.C. arrogance/corruption/malfeasance.

They already have one who was supported early by DeMint before Kaye decided she couldn’t make it to the state house against Perry.

His name is Michael Williams. See more here. http://www.williamsfortexas.com/

Specter is our best chance!

Scuzzyfava is our best chance!

Crist is our best chance!

Murkowski is our best chance!

Castle is our best chance!

Go back just a little further and Chafee is our best chance!

This whole thing has gotten silly. We should be nominating the most conservative candidate that CAN actually win. Of our choices, Castle is the Republican that can win this seat. O’Donnell has zero chance of winning Delaware in a general election and everyone knows it.

This is no surprise. If the Tea Party and conservatives in general are going to stick with their guns about getting rid of RINO’s they are going to have to step up with direct donations to O’Donnell’s campaign. I have not given to the RNC, RSCC or RCCC for some time for this very reason.

It is better to have candidates beholden to grassroots constituents rather than the party machine anyway.

So, conservatives, if you hate RINO’s and want to rid the party of them, put your money where your mouth is.
