Something smells...

Wasn’t it the KSP that submitted 25,000 voter registrations in Harris County alone, and that 2/3’d were found to be insufficient or outright fraudulent???

48 hours before the Harris County Elections storage facility went completely up in flames???

I thought KSP was conservative ..... ? Been by their office (right next to Demeris) and they have pretty conservative, Tea-Party-ish (always allowing for RiNO Judas-goat games) street dress. Also, the Chairman of the Texas Republican Party recently had a meet-and-greet there (which I totally missed).

You have other info? Like, they’re a front for ACORN and its subs?

I might havw my wires crossed...I’ve never heard about these KSP’ers before the fire, but when I did, it was in the same sentence as the fraudulent registrations, and just before the “fire” discussions...

I assumed they were questionable in their purpose and existence...

I guess it was the way it was presented in that discussion that made me think they were ACORN’ish as a group...

My main focus is to get Harris County, specifically the folks in my voting precinct to go “early” vote this time...

The elections folks and the County Commissioners buying 1.4 million “paper” ballots as a back-up, is just about the most stupid thing they have done that I can recall...

I’ve mentions that with a little perseverance, the poling location in our precinct could get by without that many eSlate machines setup on election day...I can see us getting by with two, maybe three machines tops, not the 6 to 8 machines we normally get on election day...

If we play it smart, be efficient, we can get everyone through in an orderly manner...

And doing that will negate whatever the cause of that disruptive fire did to these midterm elections in one of the most critical counties, in one of the most critical states in this union...

That really needs to be our ultimate goal...And so far, I have not seen that, from those making these decision and spending the money...

The KSP contraversy, if there is one, is almost secondary to getting Harris County on track, in a compressed timetable, for the early voting and election day coming up...

You know me...I tend to shoot from the hip...And ready, fire, aim is sometimes my fortay...muh bad...

Houston and Harris County has a bigger problem with the 2010 election. All 10,000 of their voting machines were destroyed in a warehouse fire last week. What they will use for voting equipment this fall, who knows. This is going to cause a lot of trouble this November.

As an election judge in Harris County, will keep updated on this matter.
