BRENTWOOD Kristin Ruggiero will spend 7 to 14 years in state prison for what police say was part of a years-long ploy to use the criminal justice system against her ex-husband, who was thrown in jail and nearly lost his career during a bitter divorce.

A jury found that Kristin Ruggiero registered a disposable cell phone under her ex-husband's name and sent herself a dozen threatening and suicidal text messages. She then reported to East Kingston police in May 2008 that her ex-husband had violated bail conditions tied to a criminal threatening case, which police learned was also fabricated by the 34-year-old mother.

While Jeffrey Ruggiero was being investigated, his ex-wife called him at all hours and taunted him over the phone, according to court testimony.
"She mocked him. She laughed at him. (She said) 'I took all your money, I took your daughter and now I am going to take your career'," Assistant County Attorney Jerome Blanchard said in court yesterday.

“I want to say here WHAT THE STATE OFFERS IS A SENTINCE OF EXTERMINATION,” Keefe said, while proposing a 12-month jail sentence for Ruggiero.
Upon first glance... Extermination. lol...
So, is she available?
Can’t get in to read the story. :(
Not my soon-to-be ex-husband...I had witnesses and got him on tape last week threatening me after he had called my cell and house at least 7 times within two hours and had also left a suicide message earlier (I just notified his sister about that one) on my answering machine. I finally filed a police report yesterday, my boss said I needed to file a report for company liability purposes as I have co-workers who are concerned.
However, I did not press charges, I told everyone he was just mad at me for not picking up the phone, said something stupid and certainly wouldn't have the guts to follow through. He would also have lost his concealed weapon license, which he needs for other personal reasons, I would not go there unless I thought he was really serious.
And just my two cents from personal experience...the other side of the coin to your argument is that some spouses do follow through on their threats after the authorities fail to take them seriously. I personally have been in an abusive relationship before and had to leave the state and hide for well over 5 years to protect my daughter and myself. Therefore, it is usually not a good idea to "generalize" about such things based on one isolated incident of some psycho woman.
Although it’s true that, “On the Internet, nobody knows you’re a dog,” that comment rings true.
You are correct. My memory played a little trick on me. Thanks for the correction.

I checked both the upper and the lower links and both worked for me ...Do you want me to send you a copy of the full article by freepmail? Let me know and I will.
She’s probably got some personality disorder going on. I hope she suffers in prison, not a nice thing to hope for but my ex tried some similar stuff. Broken B!tch
Hey dude, she has a pulse, so... off limits for the likes of you.
It’s crap like this why I even refuse to date. One woman from thirteen years ago accused me of being a prominent member of Aryan Nation (I have a different middle name than that person), who committed a bunch of other dastardly deeds as well. I lost a lot of friends, and nearly had my career ruined. The person she accused me of being is currently in a federal prison.
I sure did...he tried to kill her before she was even born, he knocked me down a flight of steps because I would not have an abortion. Then he kept trying to kidnap her and kill me. He was finally killed by a police officer. People that jump to conclusions really irk me.
and then there is the case in Utah where the father was on tape hiring a hit man for his ex wife, arrested, charged, tried, found guilty and given less than a year in jail, if that.....
Be that as it may, men get screwed over more times than women, guaranteed.
ITS ABOUT TIME ONE OF THESE BITTER HAGS GETS SOME JAIL TIME......IT HAPPENS TOO MUCH TO GUYS IN FAMILY COURT....
Wow, what a piece of work. Why do I see a made for TV movie on OXGYN or WE.
I’d appreciate that.I still can’t get to the site so it has to be something wrong between here and there.
What
On Lifetime, and the script will subtly hint that the husband was the main one at fault. Or if HE is presented as a victim, it’ll be hinted that her FATHER was a molester or child beater or something, so it’s Not Her Fault.
