An insubordinate Army doctor has been charged with disobeying orders after failing to show up for duty in Afghanistan and questioning whether President Barack Obama has the right to order him there. Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, birther and insubordinate soldier headed for court martial

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, birther and insubordinate soldier headed for court martial

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at Fort Belvoir, VA and in all likelihood will either be sentenced to detention and/or given a dishonorable discharge from the military.

Lakin will be charged under Article 92 and 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice which states - Under Article 92, Any person subject to this chapter who:

(1) violates or fails to obey any lawful general order or regulation;

(2) having knowledge of any other lawful order issued by any member of the armed forces, which it is his duty to obey, fails to obey the order; or...

shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

Under Article 86, UCMJ. Any member of the armed forces who, without authority -

(1) fails to go to his appointed place of duty at the time prescribed;

(2) goes from that place; or

(3) absents himself or remains absent from his unit, organization, or place of duty at which he is required to be at the time prescribed;

shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

I hope Lakin gets both jail time and a dishonorable discharge. From the video he posted on YouTube, it looks like he will have a short court martial as it seems he will just plead guilty. Hopefully he will expeditiously sentenced to jail time and a dishonorable discharge.

Lakin is from Greeley, Colorado and was ordered to go to Afghanistan. He did not report to Fort Campbell, KY

Of course, I’m one of those “ex-laterine commandos” - don’t know what a laterine is, and I never saw one on my many deployments, but I have no use for someone who refuses to deploy for combat. None.

Did you NOT tell us that you served in the U.S. Air Force, hmmm???

The Latrine is also another name for Duchamp's Fountain. Male Latrine. Fort Sam Houston, Texas (April 2006). A latrine (from Latin lavatrina meaning bath) is a communal space with multiple toilets, or a single standalone apparatus that is designed for defecation and urination. [1] Latrines allow for safer and more hygienic disposal of human waste than open defecation. They are used in rural areas and low-income urban communities, with significant use in the developing world. Many variations exist, but at its simplest, the reason for using a latrine is that waste is controlled and decomposed into safer by-products.

Latrine is also a term commonly associated with the United States Armed Forces, specifically, the Army and Air Force for any point of entry facility where human waste is disposed of, which a civilian might call a bathroom or toilet, regardless of how modern or primitive it is. The US Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps commonly use the nautical term head in place of latrine, even when disembarked from a vessel.

Only if the president-elect had died or failed to qualify.

And that's exactly what LTC Lakin's rightfully Constitutional rights is challenging!!!

Anyone who watched a war movie knows what a laterine is. Anyone who has had a relative in the military knows the term. Anyone who has a basic comprehension of the English language who is not illiterate knows the term.

My guess is this guy is an offshore spammer for Obama. Another idiot.

Hey Cheech and Chong!

The guy doesn't know what a "laterine commando" is because the word you're looking for is latrine!

Much closer to 1.0 standard measure of event probability. What folks wish the Constitution might say and what its says are two different things. Just as a bigamist’s follow-on marriage is invalid upon discovery, no judicial decree required, so too is a illegible man never President, no matter who the heck swore him in.

Discovery would invalidate Obama’s faux Presidency, so I suspect.

“Anyone who has a basic comprehension of the English language who is not illiterate knows the term.”

“No results found for laterine: Did you mean latrine?”

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/laterine

Want to discuss illiteracy rates again? No one who has deployed and USED a latrine would call it a ‘laterine’....

A poster said that the limpwristed handshake that Obama gave Alexi was a Freemason handshake.

I was googling it and came across the photo of Roberts swearing in Obama without a bible in the map room. If I remember correctly - the press wasn’t allowed.

In between the two was a picture of a Freemason.

And then there is the G in between these two people who appear to be doing a Freemason handshake

http://blairsblog1.blogspot.com/2008/12/obamas-illuminati-handshake.html

Obama is a puppet. Maybe the group that is his master are also Freemasons. Bob Shieffer, a Freemason, gave Obama the freemason handshake at the debate he moderated.

None of the straight answers I've given you to date have managed to sink in so what good would another one do?

lol, a straight answer from you? That'll be the day.

And I might add, the picture of the Freemason was not above the fireplace in 2008.

Suddenly, in 2009, it is above the fireplace for Obama’s photo op.

I have been paying my taxes to the US Treasury Secretary “Turbo Tax” Tim Geithner, who was appointed by a “De Facto” President. Am I commiting a crime?

Orders are assumed to be lawful. The burden on proving them otherwise rests on the one who refuses.

Assumed by you maybe, but many who gave unlawful orders in Nam had some unfortunate accidents.

I have no use for someone who refuses to deploy for combat.

Do you really think we care?

I am pretty darn sure only a congress can unseat a president called impeachment. All those constitutional purists posting those BC lawsuit cases missed that part of it. That is why Clinton case was sent to congress rather than a courtroom.

And given we have a midterm election coming up and not one congressional candidate will propose impeachment it looks like we might have to beat him the standard way, winning an election,
