There are a lot of permits out there, but for a married couple to each have one? That's unusual regardless of what state your in...
And in this situation, it didn't seem to do either of them a lick of good....
I have Oklahoma relatives who are couples and who both have CCWs.
Hubby and I live in Georgia and both have concealed carry permits. We always take at least one gun on road trips. Too many couples have been murdered in our vicinity. One nice elderly couple was hiking in the mountains and killed by what turned out to be a serial killer. Still, I half-jest that a person would have to be about two feet from me and have just announced, “I’m going to kill you” before I’d have the courage to pull the trigger. I have a feeling that shooting someone is not quite as easy as it sounds.
Here in Nevada it is very common for both spouses to have a CCW.
Seriously? My husband can’t be with me all the time and when he’s not it’s my job to protect our daughter. His permit doesn’t do me any good if he’s not here. My brother in law and his wife both have their permits too for the same reason. Why wouldn’t it be normal?
