Four Christians were arrested and thrown out of a public Arab festival in Michigan and at least two people claim a crowd cheered "Allahu Akbar!" while the Christians were led away in handcuffs for doing nothing more than engaging in peaceful dialogue and videotaping the event.
Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla and 18-year-old Negeen Mayel attended the 15th annual Dearborn Arab International Festival on June 18 in Dearborn, Mich., where an estimated 30,000 of the city's 98,000 residents are Muslim.
The American Arab Chamber of Commerce announced the event was expected to draw "over 300,000 people from across the country, Canada and the Middle East." The festival covers 14 blocks and is free and open to the public.
Qureshi and Mayal are former Muslims who are now Christians. Mayal's parents emigrated from Afghanistan. Wood is a former atheist. All are from a Christian group called Acts 17 Apologetics.
In the following video after the arrest, Qureshi said his group took "extra precautions" to prevent disruptions by not handing out pamphlets and to speak only to people "who first approached us":

That video is truly *unbelievable!*
Man, it seems like everything/one is “protected” and given preferred treatment EXCEPT for the white, straight Christian.
The elect. In the end times aren’t the elect supposed to be persecuted? I guess this is God’s plan and we do win in the end. But it’s still hard to take.
I'm aware that they're friend of Algore's and weren't a real Christian group. I was just pointing out that some speech, even offensive speech, is allowed...just not speech from real Christians.
Agreed. Welcome to FR.
I have seen a helluva lot that I never thought I would see also. Beginning with a group of ,to use the term loosely, people. People who rather as slaves to the government than as free individuals. People who inflict a lying muslim socialists on me. People who expect something for nothing.
Right. Although I cannot say what the Koran says in that respect, empirically, we know that is true.
‘Allahu Akbar!’ shouted as Christians cuffed [PERIOD GOES HERE!!!] Witness: ‘I never thought I would see this in America’”
I have a really hard time still considering Detrout & major portions of Michigan as any part of America.

Correct. It should be no different than a restaurant refusing to seat a customer because of race or religion.
Just read the article, watched the videos at WND and found the article posted here. This is just incredible.
Thank you:)

Michigan, a state where Christians can't evangelize publicly, but where in Ann Arbor Jewish Witnesses for Peace(not all Jewish) can picket a Conservative Synagogue, Congregation Beth Israel, for years on end over the policies of Israel. They're not antisemitic, of course, they like Jews, just not Israel, which is why they protest Israel's policies in front of a Jewish congregation rather than, say, the Israeli counselate in Chicago. Which would burn up gas and add to global warming, I'm sure. Thaking pictures, still and video, of the Jews entering the Congregation. Their right. And you can never tell when pictures of the local Jews will be useful.
They're a handsome lot, I'll give you that. they'd look fine in handcuffs. Which they shouldn't wear, any more than the Christians addressed in the article.
bump
I'd also note that imo the Ann Arbor harassment comes very close to inhibiting the right of members of that Congregation to exercise their choice of religion. I doubt there's anywhere in this nation that a group could picket a Mosque, and take pictures of those entering. Same for most Christian denominations, though you'd probably get away with it at some Catholic Churches.
