Yes, it could be Mac wants to use the incident to throw his combat boots in the ring to become our next Caesar. I mean the man is clearly a good national socialist.
Agreed, this hurts Bam more than anyone else. At a time when his competency is being questioned on virtually everything, even from his supports, the last thing he needs is a confrontation with a field general of distinction.
He will try to look the tough leader in control, but in the end he will look the weasel wimp he really is.
