Yes and I had my shirt tail cut off at age 14. Meaning, I flew my first solo flight at age 14. Did that make my parents irresponsible? Not in my opinion.

All of my boy cousins learned to fly and soloed in high school. Most of them have planes and still fly today. I don’t think my relatives were bad parents. But if you are saying you flew around the world, unaccompanied, at age 14, I am in awe. What a guy.
