You are totally lacking common sense if you really think a young girl sailing solo around the the world is an acceptable risk. I think the death rate for U.S. teen-agers is something like 50 deaths/100,000. That is 50 family tragedies per 100,000 teenagers. Too many. Perhaps you’ve never been the parent of teen-agers. Perhaps you’ve never experienced the needless death of a child and so don’t take it as seriously as other do.
So you don’t know. You make assumptions. Those you made about me fall short. So do those regards teen drivers versus teen sailors. You ‘feel’. That is a liberal mindset. Guard yourself against that. Ditto making assumptions.
