I predict Newsweek will become a quarterly and be banished to the grocery store check out isle, more or less like the periodic Life Magazine appearances.

Who would buy it? Seriously.
Maybe the same people who would invest in a slide-rule manufacturing company?

I wish I could buy it so I could personally fire every writer/editor. That would be fun.

Who will buy something that will be extinct in a year and lose money every day of its existence?

“Despite heroic efforts on the part of NEWSWEEK’s management and staff, we expect it to still lose money in 2010.”

The drugged out mediots of NewsWeak have confused arrogance, bias and stupidity for heroic.
