If you are this ignorant of politics, what are you even doing here?

You know that Ron Paul will never win an office outside of that district, you know that it is childish to keep play acting like he will suddenly become head of the Republican Party and win 62 million votes and become President of the United States, yet you devote a fanatical energy and commitment of time to play act like all this real.

Why do you guys keep playing like little girls having fake tea and mud pies in your garden playhouse, how is that you have such little interest in real world politics, yet you want to be at the forefront of those that are here purely for real world politics and to win elections?

I agree about Newt being "stuffy." But for me the fundamental flaw is his suckering for the "green" movement. Same with Romney: it shows a frightening gullibility.

A gal at the grocery store behind me today was buying about four of those stupid "Save the Planet" reusable shopping bags. I wanted to ask her: "So, you believe in Santa Claus, too? Quick -- how old is the earth? Quick -- how long have we been here?"

Quick -- how many millions of years since the dinosaurs crapped out, after being made extinct how many times? How many times have the polar ice caps melted and refrozen? If you don't know, you can find out what geology says about it, and also consider your own eyewitness of landscapes with old coastlines of eons ago now high and dry. Quick -- what was the sea level in Florida 20,000 years ago? Quick -- what was the sea level in Florida 120,000 years ago? Quick -- what is 20,000 years to 150,000 years versus the measly, piddly, miniscule timescale we know of our own selves, our written history of which isn't one tenth of that

The global climate question is a ludicrous thing to even ponder from our human standpoint in reality, knowlege, and time. All you need is a basic background of some various geologic discoveries to figure that one out. It's math.

Only a gullible person buys the man-caused global warming "issue," and people are only gullible when they're ignorant. Newt and Romney are that ignorant and that gullible. My vote goes elsewhere.

I think RP is in the mix as much as anybody now - but I agree that he won’t be the nominee. Nevertheless, I don’t see him as a distraction or a time waster. He forces ideas into the discussion that are not only needed, but that would never be raised or discussed seriously if all our candidates were cut out of the usual Rudy McRomabee cloth.

By the way, I think that most of our Presidents
wouldn’t be considered “Presidential” figures today because they wouldn’t be pretty enough or willing to play the media game.

I can’t imagine who will get the nomination in 2012...Duncan Hunter would be good, but he isn’t pretty enough and lacks the all important “name recognition” (sarcasm intended).

'Traditional conservatives' believe in the survival of the country, and in fighting those who want us all dead.

Ron Paul doesn't care. And there's nothing conservative about that in the least.

Also, we lost in 2008 because of LIES about Iraq, and a hundred other reasons, not one of them being the protection against terrorists that our troops sacrificed to give us in fighting and killing them in Iraq. We were winning that war in 2008, and the press, in their criminal bias, refused to present that information.

I guess the leftist MSM successfully indoctrinated you too, eh?

You do a horrible disservice to our military, and echo the radical left in your disdain for their sacrifice and for the incredible results of their efforts in the ME.

Shame on you. SHAME on you.

You are persuasive that you are sincere in your conviction that Ron Paul is inconsequential.

That remains to be seen. Who knows?

But, if he was so monumentally inconsequential, wouldn’t it be easy to beat him?

Is everyone else running on a platform with “I’m so bad at politics that I can’t even beat Ron Paul” in it. Everybody running against Ron Paul must be really really really really bad at politics.

Or, Ron Paul is less inconsequential than you think.

Are you kidding? Ron Paul has NO chance of getting anywhere near the White House.

The best we have to hope (and PRAY) for is that he doesn't interfere with the conservative Republican whom we will nominate who can beat Obama in 2012.

Paul wouldn't get a tiny fraction of the American people's votes, no matter how rabid his supporters are, and how many people he pays to support him.

All he can do is hurt us.

RP is not in any mix, the guy is as small time as he has always been, he has a little rabid group of pretenders that send him money and keep his name on the internet, but he is no closer to winning votes than he has ever been.

It gives the old guy something to do and the adoration that he needs and some funds, but he is just the same old gadfly that both parties always have. RP is our Ralph Nader.

The Neo Leftist PaulBots are equally anti war as the
Marxist groups such as Code Pinkos.

Paul believes we were hit on 9/11 because we are “Imperial America” and occupiers. Paul calls it BlowBack.

Much of his support and money is from Alex Jones and Lew Rockwell, anti war, anti Israel, 9/11 Truthers. and their
lemmings.

Well, that’s fairly conventional analysis, regarding the preferences of indies. Conventional analysis says that since traditionally Republicans have grown government slowly and Democrats have grown government quickly, that independents want government to grow somewhere between slowly and quickly. Sort of like splitting the difference.
If we believe that that’s how indies think Ron Paul wouldn’t do well with indies.

But I do think that there’s a substantial section of indies who aren’t Republicans because the Republicans aren’t making government smaller. There are many indies who do want smaller government, not simply slightly less big than the Democrats would do. Ron Paul does appeal to those people.
And that’s what the Tea Party is about. Less Government, More Freedom.

Barbour - not electable. Gingrich (uggh) - not electable. Jindal - not electable.

We need young, attractive, conservative candidates. Have we not learned ANYTHING from 2008? Despite the wave conservatives are riding right now, the youth vote will once again come out in full force. Do we want to win an election, or lose to Obama?

Rubio, Pence, Palin, or yes, despite the flaming, Romney.

Mitt will keep buying off Politico to write anti-Palin stories in hopes we will forget the supposed financial genius is the guru behind Romneycare.

What are you talking about?

The Iraq war was unpopular. Are you disputing that?
What are you talking about “leftist MSM successfully indoctrinated”? The war was unpopular. The leftist MSM successfully indoctrinated enough people to believe that the Iraq War was bad. I’m simply pointing out that the war was unpopular, and George Bush was unpopular because of the war.
We lost a lot of votes in 2008 because of the Iraq war.
