Sorry for the vanity post, but please join me in turning every light on in your house, your neighborhood, your out houses or whatever. What better way to celebrate EARTH HOUR? The "progressives" would love us to live in their 12th century vision of Utopia, let's show them what we think. Let's vow to make next year one these communist, Marxist, pseudo environmentalist will never forget. Drill, baby, Drill but in the meantime burn a few bucks to annoy them!
All mine are on too.... Maybe next year I will rent some of those spot lights that car dealerships use to advertise.... LOL
Every light in our place is on. We set 3 timers so we wouldn’t forget. Hope at least one lib drives up our rural Vermont road to see the lights. My motto is “annoy a lib today.”

I love it! We've got all the lights blazing and 2 TVs going here in Connecticut. LOL ;-D
But rather to show that we believe the answer to the world's problems is not to turn out the lights sit in the dark and go back to 3rd world lifestyles, but to find ways to make sure that energy is plentiful and cheap for both this generation and future generations.
Make sure all of them are incandescent bulbs...I have been stocking up on them. I almost have a whole closet full. They go on sale at Kroger all the time for 88 cents....I would suggest everyone stock up.
Watching UFC on my big screen with the lights on. Woohoo!
My apartment overlooks downtown Cincinnati and all the buildings are just as fully lit as they were at 8pm.
All lights on...home aglow!! Running dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and defrosting refrigerators. Also opened all windows and turn the heat on. Just doing my part!
I’m in central time zone. Just lit up the yard half hour early.
Since I’m an alive & thriving creature of the Earth, I’ll “celebrate” my existence, by turning on MY hard-earned lights.
All lights are on. Getting hot. Turning on the A/C now.
Computer on (duh). Check.
CD Player (Collin Raye). Check.
Lotsa lights. Check.
Coffee maker on (making TEA though). Check.
Flat Screen TV on (sound off). Check.
If any libs are reading this, they are going to get all flushed with anger, and make the planet warmer! Horrors!
Every house light on on first floor and basement: check. Three space heaters on in large family room: check. Two ceiling fans in family room on high: check. Desk lights on on both desks and over fax machine in library: check. Washing machine and dryer running loads in basement: check. All four television sets in house on: check. Two notebook and three desktop computers running: check. Load of dishes in dishwasher and dishwasher running: check. All three outdoor lights on: check. You ought to be able to see my house from the international space station.
Let there be light!!!
There was a guy who posted a photo on here last year for Earth Hour—I think he was standing in front of his house with Christmas lights lit—it was hilarious. Will be doing my part in a half hour. I’m sure the neighbors will notice since we are usually quite frugal about light usage.
