We watch NCIS. It’s pro military, and more patriotic than most shows, IMHO.

I will venture off the thread path and agree with the author. The few SVU shows I’ve seen this season (yes, we have watched a few) really do seem even more blatant against conservatism and Christianity.
The writers used to try to disguise that more in previous seasons, IMO. (Although it wasn’t hard to recognize by anybody who employed any basic critical thinking) Now, they are obviously ramming their agenda down the viewers throats.
Perhaps they are following the Obama/Pelousi line of thinking, that the more people turn their program off, the more the writers need to jump up and down and scream it out.
Christopher Meloni starred in a leftist bent TV advertisement recently, although I can’t recall exactly the issue he was trying to sell.
Well, I stopped also. So who the heck is watching?
The original L&O has been way preachy and liberal for years and cannot stand the dude who played the DA for years.
Never watched SPV because of the nastiness of the crimes ... unwatchable.
Might watch CI sometime but probably not. D’Nofrio became very difficult to watch and I think Chris Noth quit the show when it went to cable. He’s now in The Good Wife (a good show)
Oh, yes, Jerry Orbach, miss him.
I agree about Hargitay. I like her but her expression never changes from that agonized look. There was always something a little odd about Jane Mansfield’s mouth and Hargitay inherited it.
Can’t figure out why she gets best acting awards.
Dick Wolf has used these shows for his Leftist propaganda since the beginning and no actor who hates America will ever go hungry while he's on the air.
I’ve pretty much stopped watching L&O SVU since they have gone over to the “Dark Side”. I will watch old episodes that I either missed or don’t remember (getting old). But, the new episodes turn my stomach.
While advertisers have a lot of influence with the media, I'm not so certain they drive show content.
Until an incident occurs that is, and then the offending party gets back-slapped if enough people complain.
I'll agree the best thing to do is stop watching so ratings go down. That will get advertisers attention for sure.

In all of the L&O incarnations, frail women aggressively intimidate their weaker male counterparts. Even a homocidal maniac is cowed in Dick Wolfe’s world.
Orbach was as bad as any of them.

Yeah...I like NCIS.....Give me Ziva and Abby over Mariska Hargitay any day!!! About threw up when I heard about the Law & Order episode where Hargitay had to kiss Kathy griffin.....I would have refused...on Health Basis...God knows what you could catch from a Skank like Griffin. Or at least some antibiotics...LOL
