NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" has consistency working in its favor: the biggest "victims" are its depictions of conservatives and Christians.
Part of "SVU's" appeal is its ripped-from-the-headlines storylines, but the program's writers frequently use these storylines to promote liberal agendas and to bash Christians.
Three different episodes have aired since February 10 and all promoted a liberal agenda. In the past month, audiences saw Christians portrayed as kinky sex addicts and murderers, heard propaganda that supports the idea of special punishment for hate crimes based on sexual orientation, and heard the detectives on the show refer to the abortion debate as "pro-choice or no choice."
"Law & Order: SVU" is a spin-off of the long-running "Law & Order" series. Actress Mariska Hargitay and actor Christopher Meloni star as Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler in the program, which follows the cases of the NYPD's Special Victim Unit. Detectives in this unit focus on sex crimes. According to NBC, the show "has received numerous citation from community-based organizations for the social issues it tackles."
Just like its sister programs, which have repeatedly slammed businessmen [1] and conservatives [1], "SVU" takes its shots at traditional values and promotes liberal solutions to the "social issues it tackles."

What cracks me up about this show is every time the DAs bring a death penalty case in NYC.
I first stopped watching L&O CI when The Bug (D’Nofrio)went ballistic. Then I stopped watching L&O when they ran one too many “evil military industrial complex” type shows. I stopped watching L&O SVU this year when it deteriorated into another liberal sermon a week.
Don’t watch any of those series. I found long, long, long ago on the original L&O that they had their anti Christian, anti American, anti gun, anti military, anti Patriot, agenda and did not watch it again. Have not seen that show in years and years, not even when Fred Thompson put himself into a position to be used by their leftist propaganda machine. I lost a lot for Fred then.
1). Start off by making a protected minority (often a Muslim) appear as the likely perp.
2). Then bring a white Christian into the mix in a peripheral role.
3). Wrap up with the protected minority somehow being the helpless victim and the eeeevullll white Christian as the blue-eyed devil.
No wonder my television viewing has been distilled to just ``24'', which has also devolved to being too PC. However, ``The Shield'' on FX did vary from the orthodoxy for a while.
And NBC just can’t figue out why it when from #1 network to a distant 3rd place.....Perhaps it was insulting 1/2 or more of it’s audience with shows such as this?
There’s a line between acting and PC stupidity. L&O crossed it years ago.
Never cared much for "Private Pyle" anyway.
I agree... L&O makes me sick to watch..... The only episodes worth watching were the old ones with “Lenny”..Jerry Orbach.....Would consider watching SVU torture...

I agree with you completely. I have blocked all of the broadcast network channels at home.
However, the point the person who posted the thread is trying to make is that the greater majority of people who watch this crap on network TV assume that it’s “real” and can’t make the distinction between “pretend” and “real”. They take the programs as being “fact”, so that overall, there is a leftist “brainwashing” by watching these programs. So far.....the “brainwashing” has worked for years. The poster wants people to realize that the stories are “pretend” or to get that kind of crap off of the air completely.
I recall one story about the murder of an abstinence youth group member turned out to be a group killing by a bunch of “christians” who stoned a girl for not being chaste.
Only in Hollywood.

I saw those “Fred” episodes. From my point of view, he always got the last word in in those episodes and it was always a positive, conservative statement. He who laughs last.....laughs best. I suppose that everyone has their perspective. :-)

Hargitay is a good looking Hungarian chick who can’t act her way out of a paper bag. She got the looks from her mother, bombshell Jayne Mansfield, and her acting chops from her father, bodybuilder and likable third-string Hercules Micky Hargitay.
The last straw was when the producers made her plant a kiss on obnoxious lefty skank Kathy Griffin in the lesbian episode.
