Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger defends Obama's stimulus plan

Schwarzenegger suggested that when the GOP leaders sit down with President Obama for a bipartisan health care summit Thursday, it's in their interest and the country's to compromise.

"If there is a will, there's a way," he said. "If you really want to serve the people and not just your party, I think you will find that sweet spot and you can get it done."

Someone’s bucking for a job after he gets relieved of his current one I think.

I can’t figure out if he is sucking up to Obama for a California bailout or a high position somewhere for himself.

Either way it’s time for him and his wife to take a long vacation and let someone with a pair un-shrunk by steroids to deal with the legislature there.

He is far from a disinterested observer. With his basket case of a state, he has no other choice. Without stimulus money to pay for teachers, Arnold, Charlie, and a few other governors will have an epic disaster on their hands and they can all see the fiscal cliff ahead of them.

The ONLY truth out of Stimulus I when it comes to saying jobs were saved were the teachers, and only for two years. State politicians felt a recovery would provide sufficient revenue to carry on after the S-I money ran out but unfortunately the rest of S-I was an epic fail and the actions of O only prolonged the recession. S-II is their only hope and Ahnold knows that.
