Melissa Hussain, an eighth-grade teacher at West Lake Middle School in Apex, wrote on her Facebook page that it was a “hate crime” that students left a Bible on her desk and how she “was able to shame her kids” over the incident. Her Facebook page included comments from friends saying that the parents of Hussain’s students were “bigoted, stupid and uncaring.”

In any other institution besides government schools, she would have been fired. Hopefully, they’ll can her, but her likes are widespread in the school systems.

Never quite understood why some people choose to live in the South then think it’s fashionable to bash it. If you don’t like it, do us all a favor and leave.

Teacher aside, where was the principal in all this?
I mean what was the intent of this course, in the first place?
And why in God’s name did he allow her to teach a course about Christianity if she was so hostile toward it?
Ship her sorry ass to Mecca where she obviously will be happy.
