Refugee Resettlement Watch ably sums up the problem with this below: "On top of that, in many cities around the world, the Somali diaspora is producing jihadist fighters." Among those cities, of course, is Minneapolis. And despite all this, there is still no sign whatsoever that immigration officials are even interested in the jihadist sentiments of the people they are bringing in to the U.S., or that they are making any attempt (an attempt which would be imperfect at best in any case) to screen for them (which is not the same thing as screening for "Al-Qaeda connections," which screening is supposedly going on).

Can you believe it? We are in the worst recession since the Great Depression; refugee agencies are scrambling everywhere to take care of the refugees they have. Just yesterday the Department of State released the news that they are doubling the per head payment (from taxpayers) for each refugee entering the US.
On top of that, in many cities around the world, the Somali diaspora is producing jihadist fighters. And, we are going to take 6000 Somalis from one refugee camp in Uganda?
Why this particular group? They aren't getting along with others in the camp! But, don't worry they are being screened for Al-Qaeda connections.
The story from New Vision a Uganda web publication is entitled, "USA takes in 6000 Somali from Uganda" is as follows:
THE American government is to resettle 5,800 refugees from Nakivale refugee camp in Isingiro district to the United States, Prosy Katura, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) protection officer, has revealed. Katura said a team has already been sent to Nakivale to scrutinise the refugees to ensure they have no links with al-Qaeda, an extremist group. The American taskforce at the camp will also study files of individual refugees since they arrived in Uganda...
During a meeting with the Germany ambassador to Uganda, Reinhard Buchholz, who visited the camp on Friday, Katura said the exercise under the "expedited Somali resettlement programme" should be completed by September...
Explaining the reason of resettling Somalis to the US, Katura said Somali refugees have failed to integrate with other refugee groups living in Nakivale and with the local communities because of their unique language and culture.
This is insane, they can't get along with other African people but they are going to jump into the mythical American melting pot and come out as just good old regular Americans!...

Tucson boasts about being a magnet for Somalis. TUSD then tries to teach the boys that they don’t have the right to attack females, and don’t have the right to carry and use knives in schools, that a girl wearing a skirt isn’t offering them sex, etc.
How about we insist they learn those things BEFORE coming here...is that too much to ask?
My wife is from the Philippines. We submitted a ton of paperwork and she had to have a background check done & approved. Fingerprints, etc. All BEFORE her paperwork went anywhere.
I adopted two kids in the Philippines - it was two years before I could get them anything other than a visitor’s visa to the US.
But Somalis? Gotta expedite them!

What I don’t get is why someone, or a bunch of someone’s, in Congress haven’t seen what a great issue this is and started raising hell about it. There is no reason for us to take in all these people who 1) want to kill us and 2) don’t assimilate. We are just ruining our own communities.
Why don’t we just let 6000 more Mexicans in as a kind of cap and trade.
They’ll already have support groups and will be able to read official documents and store signs and get along in stores, recorded phone messages, hospitals and government programs.
What are the Federal and State laws regarding the DEPORTATION of immigrant LAW BREAKERS back to their own country?

Oil money? Are you saying someone is being paid off to let these people come here? Who is being paid? Who is paying? And why? The Somalis don’t have any money (except for the successful pirates). I think this is another case of our government (and the UN) putting the interests of foreigners ahead of the interests of American citizens. How is this going to strengthen our country? It’s not. It is going to weaken and divide us. We are not going to benefit from this one bit, yet our tax dollars will be used to support these parasites into the indefinite future. When they arrive, they are immediately eligible for welfare, housing, food stamps, Medicaid and other benefits. Got to keep them comfortable while they plot how to kill us.

Yes, I am aware that there are Conservatives in Minnesota, and if they are wise, they will move the hell out while it is still an option.
I am waiting for their taxes to skyrocket to pay for all the third worlders that the democrats are airlifting in.
PS... Minnesota has not voted for a Republican Presidential candidate since Richard Nixon back in 1972, and during the 2008 election? John McCain raised a total of $2,423,705 in Minnesota, while Barack Obama raised $6,058,168 there.
Like I said, the Somali muslims are the perfect addition to those damn mental patients in Minnesota.
