Scott Brown for President (Vanity)

Posted on 01/19/2010 4:36:25 PM PST by Sneakyuser

He's got the talk, the walk, the look, the previous state congressional experience.

Whether he runs in 2012 (a little too soon but someone else did this...hmmmm) or waits until 2016, he will be an excellent choice if he stays on point.

And, Sarah Palin as VP?

Well, at least you're on record as "opposing Obama, period" --and I'll take that as meaning that you oppose Obamacare. It has certainly taken you a while to answer the question as to whether or not you opposed Obamacare since Mamzelle first posed it here last Sunday.

You calling Reagan Man a Coakleybot is like calling Sarah Palin an Obamabot.

Sarah would agree with you. ;^)

The results tonight remind me of the immediate aftermath of the 2003 California Recall Election and the irrational exuberance for Arnold. Frankly, Brown comes across as a Romney clone.

I have serious doubts that "Reagan Man" is really a Reagan Man. For the past several weeks, he has been invading one Scott Brown thread after another, attacking Brown as "pro-abortion," but offering no viable alternative.

I am convinced that Ronald Reagan, who coined the "eleventh commandment"--"thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican"--would have have been out giving stump speeches for Scott Brown, were he alive today.

Sarah Palin--Wasn't she McCain's running mate?

He’s a better proposition then Mitt or Pawlenty, that is all. And that is not that much.

“Aw jeez” indeed. But...

His victory speech was great. Let’s see how things turn out once he arrives in D.C.

Ronald Reagan is a true American hero and an icon to conservatives.

The traitor Robert E. Lee is your hero and role model.

And my replying on 17 “Scott Brown” threads before tonight, out of over 1000 threads posted in recent weeks, is not an invasion. And Brown is an abortion proponent. Standing up for conservative principles on an FR thread is what I do best.

What you do best, is to cry and whine.

Brown isn’t even a RINO. He went out of his way to to state in his victory speech that he wasn’t aligned with EITHER party, that he was completely independent. He will vote against Obamacare of course.

He is no rising republican star. He’s an conservative leaning independent at best.

Funny you should mention Arnuld. I mentioned that on another. As I said, I will remain very skeptical.

OK I will bite. I wondered when people might start suggesting this, he is a very good speaker and very likable. I read a article on this already this morning in some newspaper. Firstly he apparently is not pro life, that is a non starter for me! Perhaps like Rudy he will promise to appoint Conservative judges, hey maybe Ted Olsen is still available to make sure he picks the right judges...LOL

Ted O is working for gay marriage, perhaps Rudy knew this about Ted at the time??

Worries me quite a bit lately when I hear the people I like such as Hannity, listing all the qualifications needed to be the Republican nominee....be for small government, national security etc, but I am not hearing standing for life as one of the positions.

If Scott would come out now as being pro life, then I would be OK with him being Sarah`s running mate. Let`s not move away from Life being in the platform of the party. The day that happens might just as well stay home, eat drink and be merry.

FYI, Reagan didn't coin the phrase, “11th commandment”, that slogan was created by California State GOP Chairman Gaylord Parkinson as a way to take some heat off Reagan from his Republican primary opponent, liberal San Francisco Mayor, George Christopher, in the 1966 Governors race.

Also, if you have something to say to me, PING me, don't be a coward and talk behind my back.

Lets see how obambi reacts. I say he will steer a course for 270 degrees Left. More extreme leftybots as advisor, some “resignations”. We must stay on the offensive. We have got to keep building momentum and get the HOUSE back or the SENATE, so we can protect our troops from the obamabinutcase.

I’m think this obamba boy is going to start freaking out under the stress and resorting to things he did back in the day....cocaine and homosex.

Sooo what course should our side take?
R.M., I think we should start chiseling a crack in the democratic party. The crack is starting to widen with those comments by Barney Frank. Lets help it along.

Blue Dogs....lets throw ‘em some bones.

You know me. I don't stand for liberalism of any kind, from Democrats, Republicans or Independents. Brown has stated, he is a “Scott Brown Republican”. In my book, that means he is not a conservative and for good reason. Brown is Pro-Roe and Pro-abortion.

If a candidate can't defend our most fundamental Constitutional right to life, then he/she isn't someone worth supporting or voting for.

Just this morning on the Today Show, Brown was asked, is his win a referendum on Pres Obama. Brown's answer was, “No, its bigger then that”. I thought this was all about stopping ObamaCare? Even though Brown supported and voted for RomneyCare and keeps defending it as a better alternative to ObamaCare.

Not only no, but hell no, pending a solid demonstration of fiscal and at least a moderate level of social conservatism.
