Rush Limbaugh was released from Queens Hospital in Honolulu on Friday, December 31st. He is feeling stronger and rested after two days of examination and observation.

Rush will return to the microphone on Wednesday, January 6th. Mark Steyn will be the guest host on Monday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 5th.

Rush thanks the tens of thousands who've shared prayers and good thoughts with him over the past two days' time, and offers his deepest thanks to the staff and administration of Queens Hospital for their excellent care and supervision.

Whatever the cause (or not) of his hospitalization, he's going to have a powerful opportunity to sow the seed of suspicion on the new Government Healthcare.

Very simple:

"People, whether you agree with me or disagree with me politically, will there be any doubt that we will always have to wonder if we are being given the best care....perhaps a decision is being made by an obscure person in the bureaucracy that would be glad to see me go down?"

If he says this on Monday, I get a cookie!

The local "news" on tv ran video of Rush back when he was real fat, saying he had to go to the hospital for chest pains...then when he came out and announced he was okay, they had to run THE VIDEO OF HIM LOOKING HEALTHY AND FIT!
