excerpt: Barack Obama was accused of double standards yesterday in his treatment of the CIA.
The President paid tribute to secret agents after seven of them were killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. In a statement, he said the CIA had been ‘tested as never before’ and that agents had ‘served on the front lines in directly confronting the dangers of the 21st century’.
He lauded the victims as ‘part of a long line of patriots who have made great sacrifices for their fellow citizens and for our way of life’.
Yet the previous day he had blasted ‘systemic failures’ in the CIA and other US intelligence agencies for failing to prevent the Christmas Day syringe bomb attack.
‘One day the President is pointing the finger and blaming the intelligence services, saying there is a systemic failure,’ said one agency official. ‘Now we are heroes. The fact is that we are doing everything humanly possible to stay on top of the security situation. The deaths of our operatives shows just how involved we are on the ground.'

The other day, I put a post up about the VA Tech shooting. Then I received this.

Even he prays that his prophetic messages are wrong but he tells God’s people to prepare as if he if right. That’s all. Please don’t ever think I wish for America’s destruction, I don’t. Now..., the peculiar thing about what you said is that if I did support continued high rates of Islamic immigration -- then what you said would be true...
The only unfortunate thing about your post -- is -- that I've supported the opposite... LOL...
Oh well..., so much for your ability to divine any truth to the matter here.
If you had read my previous posts, over the years, about Islam and immigration (both issues) you would see that both those issue converge (with me) -- in saying that not only should illegal immigration be tightened up, and not allowed at all, in any way, shape or form -- but -- that also, we should kick out all the Muslims, in the United States, make the false and evil idealogy of Islam illegal (because it's a form of government designed to overthrow other governments and countries), and we should go to war against Islam and shut it down everywhere we can and also seek out and destroy every holy shrine for Muslims, anywhere in the world -- and then sit back and laugh our heads off against them.
Now, that's what I think about it...
But, let me guess..., there will be people who will disagree with doing that to Islam -- even here on Free Republic...

I don't think you've got the critical reading facilities -- which are needed to read some of these posts that I make... LOL... you need to brush up a bit on that.
First of all, you'll note that we've already been told, repeatedly by our own conservatives, in the former Bush Administration that we are in for a major terrorist attack that will succeed. Not only that, the Bush Administration was making solid and concrete preparations for that, and setting the government in motion for what to do with large displaced populations around the U.S. that would be affected by this sort of major terrorist attack.
They have also told us that this is a certainty that this will happen. It's not a matter of "if" it will happen, but it's a matter of "when" it will happen. They've said it in just those words. They've also told us repeatedly that we can't stop all the attacks, because for us to succeed in this endeavor (of stopping all the attacks) we have to be successful 100% of the time -- but on the other hand -- the terrorists only have to be successful (exactly) one time and one time only. Islam can fail 500 times in a row and succeed only once out of that 500 times and they've done it.
But, we can succeed 499 times in a row and fail just one out of 500 and we get it "big time" in a real and major way. Thus, the government has been making preparations for our population for evacuating major poplulation areas, setting up the people elsewhere and taking care of people when such a major attack happens. That's what has been going on with our government in the past -- at least with the Bush Administration.
I have no idea if the Obama Administration is continuing that kind of "thinking ahead" for such an event or not. Probably not.
So, if one were to ask if it's more likely or less likely during the Obama Administration, I would say "more likely" and it couldn't happen to a better President than Obama ...

Well, I wouldn't worry about MM, because (in context of what you're saying) the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- is definitely going to be judging the United States for its evil ways apart from anything we do or think about Islam -- in any case. Islam (as I've posted before) is a likely tool at God's disposal to bring judgement upon the United States.
I've posted on that before about Islam and how God will likely use it for His own divine punishment of the U.S. And don't think the U.S. is alone in that regard, as the Bible makes it clear that all the nations will be judged by Him and that will definitely include the U.S. -- with no doubt at all.
It's just that many people don't like to think about this kind of judgment, but the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is no respecter of persons or nations and He will bring His judgement upon all nations, as He has said -- and because of His chosen nation, Israel, which He will bring to the "head of all nations" with it ruling over all nations in the world, in the Kingdom being set up by the Messiah of Israel.
But, that's a "subsequent story" to this one that I've spoken about. This one, right now, is related to the fact that such an attack has been told (to us) that it is going to happen because we cannot stop 100% of these kinds of attacks. Our own conservatives have told us that (in the former Bush Administration) and it's been said that all Islam has to succeed at is just one such attack. What we have to succeed at, to prevent it is -- 100% of the time, stopping all attacks of Islam againt us. That won't happen.
Thus it will come, as we have been told by the Bush Administration (don't know what Obama is telling us in this regard, though...) -- and thus, since we know it's going to happen, I say let it happen in a Democrat Administration to wake people up from their slumber -- because if it happens during a Republican Administration, these "nay-sayers" and "slumbering idiots" will simply blame the Republicans for it, instead of "waking up" themselves and fighting a war against Islam.
I think Panetta is smarter on national security/intelligence than Obama.
That's not saying a lot, and Penetta doesn't have anything in is background that would give me any faith in him.

Any "campaign" that is going in exists solely in your own mind. I would recommend some counseling for it.
In fact, come to think about it, this guy who did the shooting at Virginia Tech sounds just about as screwed up, too... LOL...
He couldn't distinguish between reality and the mish-mash of thoughts in his own head, either. That could lead to bad results, so I would get this looked into, if I were you... :-)
But, aside from your problems, the problems with the shooter, as I remember those conversations from way back then, too -- was that he had a "mish-mash" of opposed and competing ideas in his head, taking symbols and words and phrases from a whole selection of different ideas and philosophies -- and merging them all together into one confusing mess that no one in their right mind could make any sense of -- except, himself, of course.
And that's what I fear is the outcome for you, here... LOL...

And I've said, in the past, that it appears to me that Obama is the "Judgment of God" upon this nation for its evil ways. And looking at Obama, one has to say, yes indeed, he is a judgment against America...
And the simple fact of the matter is that it is most likely that this sort of thing will happen to America (such an major Islamic attack) during the Obama Administration.
BUT, what would be ten times worse, from the way I see it, would be if Obama slides out of that kind of situation and such an attack happens during a Republican Administration. I'm afraid for such a scenario, that hardly any of the liberals would "wake up" and they would continue blaming conservatives for such things.

The problem here is that you ignore your own conservatives, in the past (during the Bush Administration) who have made it clear that we can't prevent 100% of these such attacks from happening. They've told us that it's not possible and we're going to have such a major attack.
In fact, the government, under the Bush Administration has been making preparations for handling the major dislocations of big populations centers and helping our people in such an attack.
They put procedures in place to move people out of those affected areas, they've worked on making it so that people will have a place to live and get by for the time being when a major population area is not habitable -- and that's a whole lot more than I see the Obama Administration doing.
Since we've been told repeatedly that something like this is going to happen -- and the government is making preparations for it (or it has been, anyway, don't know about Obama) -- it's much better (about a 1,000 times better) that such a thing happen during the Obama Administration than a future Republican Administration. That would definitely "wake up" the liberals and their idiotic thinking about Islam.

The problem here -- is -- that only one sick idealogy (called Islam) would even think to do such a thing, in the first place -- which is that outrageous...
It doesn't pay to hide your head in the sand and pretend that they are not out there. At least the previous Bush Administration made it clear that we were not going to stop all such attacks as these kinds that they are continually trying to accomplish.
