Kay Bailey Hutchison, much maligned for campaigning in Texas during the health care debate, boldly announced that she would go to Washington and stay there to fight health care and kill it dead.

Instead, today she accelerated it getting to the Senate floor in a bit of Senate gamesmanship.

I stayed up to watch the vote, but didn’t see Byrd wheeled- in.

Who were the other absent three? If you know, please don’t bother to check for me.

The bill is loaded with earmarks and Texas gets a lot of them.

KBH thinks she’s going to get rewarded for bringing the bacon home.

I hope your Governor Perry wins reelection.

Perry is the least objectionable choice who CAN win. Right now.

REMEMBER THIS, TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

I think she already knows that, which is why she decided not to step down from the Senate, so she can “fight for Texas”. lol

Agree. She got rid of my fence. To hell with her.

Bingo and she lies like a rug about being "tough" on illegals.

IMHO...she is being pressured and supported to run for Texas governor by Washington elements concerned with Gov Perry’s “independence” minded-ness...on more than one occasion he has reminded the Feds of the existence of the 10th ammnendment.

KBH showed her true colors when she voted against allowing witnesses in the Impeachment Trial of WJC.

A little trip down memory lane.

When Clinton was impeached by the House, and it came to trial in the Senate, KBH voted to bar testimony or evidence, thereby insuring that the trial was a sham and that Clinton would get by with his multiple perjuries.

She is elitist, liberal RINO garbage and needs to be thrown out.

Her lying radio spots here in Texas have this redneck sounding guy saying She fights the liberals in Washington.” Then in her VoiceOver she says “ We don’t need socialized medicine, here in Texas or anywhere.”

then she votes like she did.

She is a liar.
