Dear Friend,
As the Going Rogue book tour ends, I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of support. At every stop along the way my family and I were treated like members of your family and I can’t tell you how honored and thrilled I was by the opportunity to meet so many of my fellow Americans!
I've attached a link to some of our favorite photos from the tour. They reflect the warm feelings and energy that made each of the book signing events so incredibly moving.
After all our travels, it's even more obvious to me that the winds of change are blowing strong. At every stop people talked about the need to take our country back. So let's do it! 2010 is just around the corner and with it will come one of the most critical elections of our lifetime. With important House and Senate races across our nation and dozens of gubernatorial races we have the chance to make a positive difference throughout our country.
I am going to help campaign across our great nation and I'd like your help to do it. If you are able to contribute I will use the SarahPAC donations you place in my trust to support candidates who share our core values, and I’ll work on issues that can put America back on the right path. More and more people in America today long for the clear vision, the positive attitude, the faith in God, the faith in America, the free market, and the conservative principles Reagan employed for 8 years that brought us out of the Carter malais and made eveyone proud to be American...and the polls are showing it.
Americans want that again...and there is only one candidate on the radar screen that may give us a chance to regain it and turn around the Obama nightmare. The libs, DNC, MSM, and RINOs all know it and so they fear. loathe, hate, and attack that candidate...but to no avail.

Sarah, thank you for all the crap you took.
We bought two of your books. So far I’ve made it halfway through, my nine-year-old is on chapter 6 and my twelve-year-old gets it when she finishes Beck’s book. It’s just too hard to juggle three bookmarks. The other is going to my BIL/SIL. He is a libertarian and she is a huge lib. He will read it, she will snarl at it. LOL!!!!
BTW, my DH’s name is Tad. Good choice. Many of us have babies waiting for us in heaven.

The hat is hilarious. You have to be some kind of a class act to pull off wearing a hat like that and not look downright silly. Sarah actually looks cute as a button! Did she bring it with her to the signing, or did someone give it to her and she put it on?

In my old guy's opinion I think it looks great. I don't know about how she got it, maybe she wore it simply because it was raining, but there was a whole hilarious thread started by someone who was offended (or pretended to be) because it looked like a communist hat.
I think the person who started the thread eventually got zotted. LOL!

If I was forced to guess I would say that it is some kind of old fashioned fishing or whaling hat style made new. Maybe even Russian (that would be kinda funny given the Tina Fey stuff.) But this is complete speculation.
There are some pretty smart fashion people here. Maybe they'll weigh in.
