They allegedly made fun of her Muslim religion and snorted sexist comments, and now Lobna Abdelrehim is fighting back against the "Animal House" antics of her Wall Street business-publishing firm with a lawsuit.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Abdelrehim said she was given a memo by her bosses at GDS International to use her "sex to sell," sent numerous e-mails "depicting men in Muslim garb as raging homicidal terrorists," and unwittingly turned into a finalist for a "Most Allergic to Conservative Clothing" contest at the company Christmas party.

Hmmm maybe there’s some picts that may portray her as something other than a saintly virgin?
And after googling her, I found out Lobna Abdelrehim attended Drexel and won some women’s studies writing contest.
Why would anyone want to hire anyone who has a degree in women’s studies or any passing interest in women’s studies.
Sound like some idiot twentysomething who can’t handle the real world and when she’s offended she runs to the nearest lawyer.
Obviously, she’s not fit to play in the Big Leagues, LOL! She should spend 20 years in the Army if she wants to hear bad language and general taunting on a daily basis. I’ve brought more than one ‘Trainee’ or ‘Butterbar’ Lieutenant to tears over the years, LOL!
I hate prissy little chicks like this. How do they get hired in the first place? Oh, that’s right. Affirmative Action, Political Correctness, etc. *Rolleyes*
She appears to be pretty strident in adhering to her religious beliefs. Not.

She wouldn’t be able to sue if she were in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran or Saudi Arabia.
I wonder how many Christains or Jews are able to sue in those countries?

What a joke. I wish the papers wouldn’t run these columns.. they lend a hint of credibility to these claims and just give the next money hungry loser to sue their employee for having their feelings hurt. If you don’t like it.. leave it LOBNA.. What a sexy name too.. Was Larda already taken?

I have to admit; I’d love to see her run around my office nekked.
So they were so PC that in place of giving her the “sexiest dresser”-award they instead gave her the “Most Allergic to Conservative Clothing” award?
It is true there are muzzie chicks in the USA who enjoy dressing sexy, and she was one of them. Why else would they have given her such an award? And in view or her dressing habits, was it unreasonable for them to assume she was uncomfortable with Arab muzzie fundamentalism? Why would they have felt comfortable insulting suicide bombers around her?
The way she spoke and dressed encouraged thir behavior, but then she had a change of hear —sort of like “getting the vapours”— and then she decided TO SUE.

My point was that they made their award to this muzzie slut nicer, politer, and more PC than it would have been anywhere else, especially in the middle-east.
For some reason she was simply mad at them —we don’t really know why. What we DO know is that the best legal attack would have to take some angle along the lines of sex, race, and religion.
Apparently that’s even true when the “victim” dresses super sexy and apparently behaves like a total slut.
Oh how I looooooooooooooooooove Google.
Seems GDS International, the company our poor little girl worked at is being investigated by the State of NY as a boiler room scam.
They were selling ads in magazines that they never published.
So maybe our girl was perhaps involved in not too legit activities and maybe wants to cover her ass if the brown stuff hits the fan.

I have to disagree with the prevailing thoughts here. It sounds to me like this company pretty much did the opposite of what most HR consultants would advise about sexual innuendo in the workplace. If they went this far why didn't they just do a wet tee shirt contest at their Christmas party?
