Guess what? It turns out the Chinese are kind of curious about how President Barack Obamas healthcare reform plans would impact Americas huge fiscal deficit. Government officials are using his Asian trip as an opportunity to ask the White House questions. Detailed questions.
Boilerplate assurances that America wont default on its debt or inflate the shortfall away are apparently not cutting it. Nor should they, when one owns nearly $2 trillion in assets denominated in the currency of a country about to double its national debt over the next decade.

Interesting what will our leader do? He's staked his presidency on this. One thing about lying down with the radical left, they are a fickle bedfellow. They will not accept a half loaf on anything. They want the whole enchilada, crushing regulations for Cap and Tax and a plan that quickly and directly crushes private health insurance coverage. The leaders are Alinskites with long term thinking, but the KOS kids are not, they are short term thinkers, raised on microwaves, 3 minute music video and get it now fast credit. They won't wait for any 10 year grand plan.

Obama has the fiscal discipline of a wino who finds a Gold American Express card in the alley. One small example is the $200 million Obama is paying Palau to allow 17 Guantanamo detainees to live there. How many U.S. aircraft will fly to Oslo and back so Obama can accept an award most Americans deem worthless? This could be done by teleconference.

Chicoms were burned by their attempt at universal health care. They have not shed all their socialism yet, but it looks like we bid fair to overtake them before long.

So right. It's astounding that we conservatives and anti-communists are sincerely, and with compelling good reason, thanking the Chicoms for trying to save us from communism.

Since we now need China to finance our trillion dollar plus annual budget deficits, and they are our largest creditor, they are simply looking to protect their investment.
They don’t care if there is health care rationing in the USA. They only care about the trillions in US Treasury debt they own.
Obama would have bowed in China too if they had an Emperor or a King.

China's economic engine is fueled by American consumers.
And American consumers can't buy Chinese products if they don't have the money.
It's in China's best interest to have the American sheeple fat and happy.

I’ve been wondering when China was going to “mention” the size of this huge new entitlement, and I have been praying that would-FINALLY-be enough to kill this evil plan . I would have preferred it to die as a result of American outrage, but at this point, I’ll take Chinese intervention. :-(

It has finally happened. The Chinese have us by the balls and will now be involved in setting policy in the US. The jig is up.

Ooooohhhhhh, dear. This is very, very ominous news. Not sure yet how it plays out, but it clearly points to the possibility of serious power moves on China’s part.

But Obama and Pelosi tell us that their health care plan will not add one cent more to the debt. The “savings” will be so great that it will pay for itself. So the Chinese have nothing to worry about.
Right?
