"No comment..."

My comment. ALL our elective offices have the same problem that term limits solved for the Presidency. ALL politicians come to "love the job" (actually, they love the graft and perks). Constitutional Amendment: Two terms for senators, six for representatives.

“I loved doing the job.”

Too bad for us that he didn’t.

Michael Savage summed it up best. He refers to Obama as “The imposter”.
He was a media creation, and is soo out of his league trying to actually run the country, I think its already catching up with him. He’s completely clueless. A less than one term state senator who voted “present” most of the time. And the dems made him president. Unreal.
Take a look at the list of Whitehouse visitors. He probably brought most of them in to ask their advice on what he should do and say. Oprah, Michael Moore, William Ayers.
I know losing in the first round of voting for the Olympics had to have desvestated his Chicago backers and narcisistic ego. They had invested millions of their own money in getting the games, and were banking on Zero getting it for them.

“This is horrible. You still have life to live and politics is just part of it. You still have a family that needs you especially Chelsea. That is pretty selfish thing to say.”

He meant he would still like to be President and would have enjoyed being President for the rest of his life...not just for two terms. He did not mean he would cut his life short. :)

“I loved doing the job.”

Having the(blow) job done was his most loved part.

Oh thank you. I did not read it carefully. Why anyone would want to be President for even a day is beyond me? The bashing that you get is insane....you can’t do a thing right. At least 50 percent of the people can’t stand you. You must be a strong person emotionally to be able to withstand that. I know I would want no part of it.

All humour aside, what a sad commentary on his view of life.

Finally, I agree with him on something. Sounds like Beelzebubba is still looking for his “legacy” (other than the blue dress!) Ha Ha Ha!

For once in my life Bill Clinton and I are in 100% agreement on an issue. I suspect we differ on the date of implementation.

Anyone else get the feeling that the "Or defeated in an election," was a somewhat hasty afterthought?

Yes, I felt that too - but he DID leave - and peacefully... ( a silent prayer of thanks that George Washington set the precedent)

He has a powerful craving for attention that ONLY being Leader of the Free World ever satisfied.

This is no surprise.

His behavior at the huge DC church service after 9/11 displayed this craving in the absolute worst way, and I will never forget it. All of the dignitaries came out of the cathedral at the end of the service and descended the stairs to the waiting limousines. The cameras were aimed at the top of the stairs to catch each famous mourner. Some shook hands solemnly with each other there and then went down.

Clinton did some lip-biting and glad-handing at the top of the steps, then descended. But the lights and cameras were not down there, so he found himself going BACK up. He remained on the top of the steps for the rest of the time, shaking EVERYONE’S hand, acting as though he lived at the Cathedral and it was his personal party. It was ostentatious and embarrassing. He was no longer the President, and this was one of our nation’s most solemn moments, and he inserted himself brazenly into its center just to get the camera face time he so missed.
