What people seem to be missing is that this “mocking” is really a way of hectoring the President to pass his liberal agenda.

BINGO! Exactly what I was thinking when I watched it.
And I swear SNL’s Obama did much, much better impersonations back when he was the hero up against Hillary. Methinks they are taking no risks by not only chiding him only for not enacting a liberal agenda, but by having the impressionist be so bad that it won’t catch fire on the ‘Net or be effective generally.
