She was a Congresswoman, not a Senator.

I’d rather they had let her go = just not let her come back.

Another South African news site says:

A lack of blank pages in the passport of former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney was the reason for South African Airways' refusal to allow her to board a flight to South Africa on Tuesday...SAA confirmed the incident saying she did not have the required number of blank pages in her passport to travel.

SAA's Head Group Corporate Affairs, Robyn Chalmers said the Airline understands the inconvenience to the passenger involved but could not allow anyone with inadequate documentation to board a flight.

Wonder what she was trying to hide by tearing those pages out.

So, the deal is, if you oppose Obama, you’re no longer on the A list. Your party no longer matters. It’s all Obama all the time!

The terrible thing about this woman is that she is a complete nut. A nut who was a U.S. member of Congress. What has this country come to?

What do they mean “passport irregularities?” Has it been revoked or not? This is too similar to Sen. Kerry preventing Sen. DeMint from going to Honduras. McKinny may be a nut but what is the real reason the 0bama administration prevented her from going to SA? I have to suspect everything now.

Cynthia McKinney, was abruptly removed from a South African Airways flight on Tuesday... According to SAA, McKinney was refused access to the flight because there were irregularities with her passport
Too bad. They should have let her fly there, and give her one of Winnie's necklaces upon arrival.
