Why isn't there ANYONE of the *old school in Washington* with the guts to take her aside and say, "Michelle, my dear, let me fill you in on a couple of things ..."? Are they all so darned afraid of being called racist for daring to offer some (obviously needed) advice?? Or really, is she just so stubborn and arrogant that whatever may have been tentatively offered was brushed aside immediately? Is 'official' Washington just content to sit back and watch M.O. make herself the laughing stock of DC? I can hear the whispers now, "Bless her heart, the poor woman is just out of her element."

The speculation that she might be pregnant I think is off base. I think she is just gaining the weight most women, and men, do after they pass 45 years of age, especially when chowing down on the foods these two eat all the time on our dollar.
However, if she is pregnant, not to worry, she knows the odds of having a downs syndrome baby are high at her age and I am sure she will have an abortion on the sly and we will never here about it.
Just one point here: If she is pregnant and gives birth to a downs syndrome child what are the odds the media would treat hers as badly as they have trig? Do you think they would call it a retard and make cute little jokes about it?
This would be rich payback back indeed and real cannon fodder for Palin to use in an election run.
